I can't thank Silvia, her husband, and all her staff enough for a most enjoyable stay and for all the assistance with getting to/from Kamadhoo. Silvia's patience and good humour seem limitless! The island is a peaceful piece of paradise, and the Kamadhoo Inn provides all the comforts to relax and enjoy it: delicious food, spacious, comfortable rooms, a suite of snorkeling equipment, and attentive, friendly staff. From the moment I stepped on to the island I felt welcome, and would happily stay again should I return to Kamadhoo.

Our stay at Dhoani was too short, but we are already planning our return trip. The staff was very welcoming and answered any questions promptly. Instructions on where to find the speedboat were detailed, and we had no difficulty finding the right boat.
The food was delicious and well-priced. We visited 3 local islands and the snorkelling excursions taken with Dhonai were superior. The house reef also has much to offer if you are interested in snorkeling.
Staff at Dhoani also organised our travel to another local island by private speedboat at a good price which saved us 1-2 days of travel.

The island is a nature paradise with amazing beaches, tall coconut palms, huge bouquet of flowers and green lush all around.
On the snorkelling trip to nearby Island we were swimming with schools of fish and eagle rays. House reef is also amazing with many colourful fish, turtles, nursing- and black tip reef sharks and crystal-clear water. The edge of reef can be reached easily at any time. Snorkelling and watching fabulous living ocean at Kendhoo is unbelievable!!!

They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The guesthouse was lovely. My room was big and clean, just as advertised. Kudarikilu is a beautiful local island, not too touristy, but well looked-after. The bikini beach is small but has sunbeds and umbrellas. The other (local) beaches are absolutely stunning - with picturesque palm trees, white sands and blue waters. There are a few affordable eateries in the area/within the close proximity to the guesthouse.

Nihaali is a really fine little guesthouse. The staff are super friendly and always eager to help. Bikini Beach is a bit of a walk, but it's really not far away. A very fine and small island.
Of the 3 islands we've seen so far in the Maldives, we had here the best house reef for snorkelling with turtles, rays and fish every day. A dream!
