We wanted a hotel close to the airport, and Chill Pill worked well. We’d stay longer next time as it’s a lovely part of Mauritius. Our room was comfortable, good wifi, hot water and a good breakfast. Check in went smoothly. Staff were lovely. So was the decor.

Very comfortable room in a great location. Very accommodating hosts with a good breakfast and the option to rent a bike which was great for exploring the area. The terrace and common lounge made it much more homey, nice to have space outside.

Steve and his family's warm hospitality and presence was the good thing there, otherwise I wouldn't have stayed at this place. This place may be good for bag packers but surely not close to perfect holiday stay for a family.

The hosts were lovely, and the breakfast was good. The location is near a nice restaurant. However, it's a room in a house that we rented, and upon arrival, the room that got the sun all day was blazing hot. The small mini split was slow to cool, and we had to borrow a fan to tolerate the heat. Location isn't near anything walkable except a restaurant which was good (and cheap ;) compared to other places on the island.

Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Breakfast was good. The host was very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious.
The roofing made too much noise when it rained. The shower drained too slow and the water wasn't always hot enough.
Great location in between the local charm of Mahebourg and the more touristique -- but still very charming -- blue bay. Easy access to the beach, beautiful water. Suit someone prepared to walk - or take a bus - or rent a car if you must!
The location is prime. On the gorgeous, blue and clean lagoon. Excellent for swimming and snorkeling.

I recommend this place for the Blue Bay area
Great big room with a great location with friendly hosts . Thankyou Maya and Henri. You were very kind and helpful especially accommodating our late checkout. We will be sure to visit again and recommend to our friends. The beach is only a short walk and it was fabulous. Blue bay, we walked in 25 mins but there are regular buses and taxis. Having a small kitchenette was very useful also.
