Our stay at Les Hibiscus was everything we expected and much more. Our host Solange,
warmly welcomed us with refreshing cool fruit juice. Our room was very tastefully furnished,
replete with a Krups coffee maker (the capsules are not gratis). The attached and private
plunge pool was perfect for taking the edge off the warm afternoons or for a bracing morning
'swim'.
The self-catering area was deluxe and had all we needed to make cooked breakfasts or full
meals. It's style and class were, like our room, something out of a home and leisure magazine
feature. The entire spacious property is immaculately landscaped with solar lights to lead one
back from the hill overlooking the sea and Nosy Tanga after watching sunsets in comfortable recliners.
The various rooms on the property are all separate and private. Solange was generous with her
local knowledge and her staff looked after us very well. There's also a night watchman who let
us in and out of the property when we ventured out and back.
Les Hibiscus is centrally located and close to a motorcycle rental, a supermarket, the bustling
village of Dzamandjar, fifteen minutes stroll from the beach and catching a tuk tuk to places near
and far.
We can only highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Eastern side of Nosy Be for business or
pleasure whether alone, as a couple or in a larger group.

The room was great and spacious and the pool was amazing. We spent many hours enjoying it. The chef, Din (sp?), did a wonderful job cooking lunch and dinner meals for us, and at a reasonable price.

The food was nice of Italian touch. The staffs are so freindly and helpful specially waiter Teo was so nice to the kids and he is still in their minds.

Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Nice huts with balcony and comfortable chairs with many trees around, so you feel like spending the night in the jungle altough the location was walkable to Hell-Ville city center.
The host of the guesthouse claimed no vacancy of the room type we booked until we arrived at the property around 7 pm. The property could have informed us but failed; we even called the property in the morning at 10:37 and we were not told about it. We ended with being directed to a nearby hotel.
Perfect location in Hellville, walking distance to the port, market, breakfast places, restaurants etc. Very nice room in a quiet, green corner of the garden. Oh, and the bed gets a special mention too, very comfy. Cool with both an outdoor shower and an indoor shower
