Riad Chay was a gem in Ouarzazate, and proved to be a wonderful place for us to stay; don't be fooled by the dust road leading to it - follow the signs and you'll find it! The staff were most welcoming. Yassine greeted us in the car park, took our bags and after checking us in, asked us where we were going next and, using the beautiful map mural on the wall of the reception, helped us to map our route through 'must see' spots, and gave us his recommendation of which roads to take.
The room was extremely spacious, and our private balcony proved to be a wonderful little spot to star gaze at night, and watch the sun set against the Atlas mountains. The room windows are coated with privacy glass which was a very clever touch that we appreciated as it meant that we could enjoy the gorgeous view from our room without having to worry about other guests seeing in during the day.
Breakfast was fresh fruits, eggs (berber omlette, which is delicious), moroccon bread (a staple everywhere you go), cake, a delicious home made yoghurt, and various condiments/spreads. Drinks available included freshly squeezed orange juice (delicious!!), moroccon tea, and coffee if you wish.

Wonderful spot in a very historical old area. The people running the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very nicely decorated. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast upstairs on the terrace very much! I can recommend this hotel to everybody without one single doubt.

It is unique and has a lovely family history regarding the name. The owner Ahmad is extremely helpful in recommending places of interest on the way to Ouarzazate, no matter from which direction you are travelling. The property is very well kept, clean and so comfortable.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to the desert and we really enjoyed it! The city is worth to spend one day there for sure. And this hotel was a cherry on top - amazing food, great staff, breathtaking views from the balcony.

- We recommend just getting a private taxi there and back as we booked a tourist transfer there which ended up being a tour and the guide had no clue we were staying in Ouarzazate so we were dropped off in a random location an hours walk from our accommodation. We got a lift from one of the local taxi drivers back which was great and he took us straight to our hotel.

excellent all round, aziz and Ibrahim great hosts , cleaning ladies helpful and freindly. accommodation spot on, air con, huge roof terrace, kitchen facilities. stayed here numerous times and never disappoints.
It was an exceptional stay, the hosts were amazing, the rooms are quaint and at the same time perfectly formed and the pool is just what is needed after venturing out in 39 - 42 degree weather.
If you are looking for something a little different than the usual run of hotels I recommend staying here, while the location is a little out of the way, there are car parking spaces available and not once when we were walking around the neighbourhood did we feel at all uneasy.
Oh and they have tortoises in the garden :)
Super friendly staff, they made me feel safe and comfortable and took care of every inquery I had. The hostel is quite simple but has all the necessary things you need. There are restaurants, shops, supermarkets and taxis just outside and you have the city center within walking distance (30m) if you're into walks.

An absolutely perfect stay for our visit to Ouarzazete. 10 mins drive to the main square. Lovely staff. Warda was a great host and super helpful. Thanks for the tip about Oasis Fint, it was such a special place.

Great location just 5 min walk (a little bit steep) from the CTM bus station. It's in the city centre but in a quiet place.
Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We were there on winter and the heater worked liked a charm.
We loved the authentic Medina (old, original village) neighborhood - locals were friendly and we felt very comfortable there. Five minute walk from the local bus station, or a cheap 5-minute:taxi ride from CTM bus station. Lots of colourful decor and interesting touches. We enjoyed watching the sunset on the roof terrace! Rita is a charming and helpful host, we enjoyed chatting with her.
Asmall and charming hotel in a quiet location .the host made a great effort to have us well. in the morning we went for a highiy recommended walk in the agricultural area around the hotel.
