Casa Sabila is right in the old medina near all the beautiful streets you want to take pictures of. The breakfast on the terrace was good, rooms comfortable, water nice and hot and with good pressure. The staff is excellent, especially Walid, who answered lots of my questions about Cefchaouen, took us to a great restaurant after a long bus ride from Fes, and answered questions about Morocco in general.

Most amazing boutique hotel I’ve stayed at - it’s a labor of love with so much character. Book ahead as there are limited rooms available!
Note this used to be a hostel many years ago but was completely revamped about a year or so ago into a beautiful boutique hotel.
Decor: The coolest and most thoughtful place. Trust me when I say this place is a work of art! Everything is tastefully done.
Service: Ossama was incredibly kind and helped us feel welcome. He also reached out prior to our stay to see if we needed any help - he is able to arrange private transfer between cities if needed for very reasonable rates, though I ended up opting for a group minivan.
Food: Breakfast is also included and delicious. Four types of bread, sunny side up eggs, tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, cheese spread and various jams (fig, strawberry, mandarin). Had all the beverages - Pineapple juice, coffee, and the classic Moroccan mint tea. What an amazing breakfast spread!
Location: It is in the heart of the blue city - only about 5 minutes walk from the iconic blue steps, though honestly, beautiful spots right outside the door step and everywhere you turn. Many shops nearby selling clothes, water, snacks, souvenirs; restaurants; etc. Very convenient. I’d recommend Restaurant Bab Ssour nearby for a sit down meal; Sandwich Chez Aziz nearby for a quick fast food bite; and Snack Touichar for a very authentic local fast food experience if you’re wandering towards the “new city” or headed towards the grand taxi station or CTM bus station. Many shops with fresh orange juice for 15-20 MAD.
Accessibility: Note that the hotel is not directly accessible by car - it’s about a nearby 4 minute walk from the main road to the medina where the hotel is located. The rooms were located on the second floor so there is one level of stairs to climb up and the Medina/main blue city area has stairs leading up. No issues for the average person but not suitable for people who cannot walk up and down stairs.

It’s the cutest place! I loved the decorations it felt so welcoming and calm and comfortable. You couldn’t be more in the center of the city. The staff went above and beyond for us, helping us with bags, checking in with us during our stay, AND AFTER! Answering any questions we had. Beautiful rooftop terrace. I loved it here. I would definitely stay again. Even the taxi to our next destination was one of the nicest rides we had on our whole trip.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. When I shared pictures of it with friends and family, they were in awe. And I don’t think the staff could be any nicer from dinner reservations to transportation back to Tanger to helping me find where to buy a bottle of wine.
There is a fourth story rooftop patio with 360° views of the city and the mountains. I wanted to take a photo of everything in this property. It also had a very comfortable shower with a rain showerhead and plenty of hot water.

It is quiet, you cannot get there by car (only by a 10min walk and the luggage comes with a donkey!) and the house and garden and pool are so nicely and tastefully decorated and curated and there’s so much thinking behind it - it is just lovely! And Paul is a lovely host, too.

Antonio was such a great host! We had few expectations with this booking because we expected the room to be small for our family and at this price, we didn't expect much. We were pleasantly surprised! Antonio attended to all our needs and more. . This quiet little place has a nice kitsch side to it that makes it even more enjoyable. We appreciated having the small private bathroom and also access to the larger (funny!) shared one.
Great location, perfect for exploring the beautiful streets of Chefchaouen, quiet, clean, super cozy and with a fantastic host! Mohamed was so helpful and kind, providing many nice local recommendations and making sure we enjoy our stay to the fullest. We especially enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace with gorgeous views! Overall, an amazing stay, can only recommend and would definitely stay again!

The property was beautiful, the room was perfectly fit for three people, and in a lovely style. the terrace was perfect for breakfast and leisure, we also had a delivery pizza on the rooftop! Bilal was a great host, very attentive to the needs and friendly, he also organized for us a traditional moroccan hammam for 150 mad each, an incredible experience! His wife has a charming handmade boutique in the souk nearby.
Imad is a wonderful host. The place is very comfortable and clean. A great location, it a charming guest house in a charming town. We highly recommend.
