A beautiful Guest House..
our hosts were charming, interesting, and engaging, and the staff we met were both friendly and efficient.
Our room was clean and well appointed and had an simple authenticity and feel which gave us a timeless sense of Morocco, it was accessed externally, and was set in beautiful gardens, with secure parking for our motorbike.
Our evening meal was superb and our breakfast was extensive and of equally high quality.
We are grateful to have been able to ride through Morocco meeting so many kind and friendly people and our overnight at Dar Sofar contributed to our experience.
We would happily return and recommend.

Comfortable big rooms, amazing location within the palm trees, dinner amongst the palm trees was a nice experience and the chicken tagine was very good. Staff were very accommodating they even made us French fries by making a request even though their chef was not present.

Kasbah Maktob is a really unique place, one of the most special experiences we made during our trip through Marokkos south. The location is very scenic, the views are breathtaking and the owner Mustafa is the perfect host. A really outstanding place we are happy to have visited.

The Riad is tucked away in the palm groves and has the most incredible garden Oasis. The family and staff that run the place are lovely and the food was incredible for both breakfast and dinner. We had lovely fresh Mandarins , pommegranite, fresh bread, spices aubergine morrocan salad and an incredible Chicken Tagine. This was the best food we have had in Morocco. Highly recommended!

This place was amazing! The house is located literally in a very old Kasbah that's run by a family, so there is little to no tourists, meaning you'll enjoy the same architechture and culture as in the famous Ait Ben Haddou without all the noise and tourism that ruins it. It's the perfect place to relax, disconnect and enjoy the peace of the surroundings and it's magnificente people. The house is beautiful and the rooms spacious, but the best thing is the staff which is always so helpful and kind, they take it to the next level and are always at your service. They also have a restaurant there so you don't have to worry about it, and their breakfast is quite generous. Thank you so much for making my stay so much better!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Excellent host. Food served was delicious. Great location to explore the old kasbah and palmerie of Tambougalt. The hotel itself is a restored kasbah building and feels very atmospheric.
We really took advantage of the pool area and had breakfast served to us both mornings on the terrace. It was a tasty breakfast of fresh juice, boiled eggs, french bread and butter, jams, and various spreads. Ishmael was a great host and made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable. We stayed in the garden 'bungalow' room which was spacious and had very comfortable beds! We'd definitely stay here again if we were in this area.
Best WIFI ever in Marokko! We had the “Deluxe Suite” with a terrace and a view of the palm garden and enjoyed the terrace and quiet location.
You can also use the kitchenette (no fridge, 3 stove) and washing machine.
Ismael is an attentive service oriented host/manager. He organized pans and whatever we needed. Thank you!
His wife bakes Wholemeal flatbreads and M’smen for breakfast.
The district is very authentic, friendly residents.
This was definitly the best accomondation we had on our whole trip in Marokko!
The host is very friendly and engaged!
The apartment is located in a very green garden with an amazing diversity of flowers and other plants.
Additionally it was very cheap.
Highly recommended!
Riad Tabhirte is lovely, quiet, relaxing…a small green paradise in Agdz. Said is a great host and very friendly. Food is very good and prices great.
Thanks to Said we organized a great visit to Ksar Tamnougalt. I strongly suggest to visit Tamnougalt with Alamin.
very kind Hosts, special location in a quiet and lush palm garden, adequately rooms with room top balconies each
Great to relax and wake up with the chant de palmiers, bird singing, donkey shouts… like in the garden of Eden
Great location in the middle of the Oasis. Very quiet and a beautiful setting. The staff is VERY nice and friendly and try to help any way they can. Had dinner there which was a classic chicken tajine. Very nice and romantic dinner setting. The entire place is unique. Can walk right out into the oasis and it's maze of walkways with old towns very close by.
