Good room, good cleaning, good surroundings, short walk to really good restaurant and Ventspils Beach.

Great place for a vacation. Went with a family of 9 people, had amazing time! The whole place is big, it has a place for kids (trampoline, slide, swings, toys etc.), a place for youngsters (a volleyball sand place, a football place etc.) and also gworn ups!!! We had two small houses to ourselves and also had the greatest experience in the pond (we rented out SUP board and an inflatable huge ball, where the kids loved to go in and 'walk on water'). Also included a small kitchen area, toilets and showers. Overall had an amazing experience!! Kids, teens and also the grown ups had a great time!

THIS place! Recently remodeled and reopened in May. This place has some interesting history. A bit from the Promenade on the beach, but an easy walk. Good location for food. The place is IMMACULATE and very well done. Good for longer stays as there is full kitchen and appliances. There are only 5 suites. The concierge was there to greet us and provided us with everything we could possibly need. Most excellent indeed.

The first thing you see upon going through the exterior door of the property and advancing a few meters is a small garden partially covered by a lush lawn, with a table and a swinging chair shaded by a thick flowery shrub. The guesthouse itself is on the right, a number of painted wooden poles supporting the structure, giving way to the front wall, recessed half a meter past them. There's a row of potted plants with dotted white and red blossoms nested against it, and a single door in the middle leading to the common dining area, a couple of white-framed windows on each side. You go up to the second floor via a side staircase, which ends in an open corridor protected by a series of planks, painted the same color as the facade. There's no elaborate decoration. It's a rustic, inconspicuous building, yet charming and inviting. I felt at home there, and safe and taken care of. I was obviously grateful that everything was spotless clean and smelled nice, but also that it was quiet and calm. The amenities were thoughtfully provided for and I had everything I needed. There's no tv, but you don't want one, not without spoiling the "feel" of the place. It's all wood, and homey and cozy. The included breakfast is definitely one of the highlights and a superb way to start your day. The selection of teas, jams and butters was also certainly welcome. I was able to enjoy the sauna on my last night (for a small additional fee), which was a therapeutic and restoring way to end my stay. There's a bus stop a mere block away and the route can take you to the city center in under 20 minutes. You can also get to the science museum on foot in about the same time, if you're looking for a place to take some pictures and take in the sunset. The industrial area and northern half of the city is just across the bridge over the Venta river. Would definitely recommend and hope I get to visit again.
