Owner was very nice and personable. She spoke both some English and German well enough that we were able to communicate. You enter the home in a common entry. The room/apt is on the second floor with a separate bathroom shower room, toilet, kitchen space (refrigerator, water pot, microwave as well as some dishes, eating utensils) and a living room with a couch and table/chairs and then the bedroom with a cabinet to hang clothes. The bedroom and living room are joined but each can be locked separately. There is a balcony off the living room. The water pressure was good and the hot water was adequate. No complaints - we had a nice stay. The place was in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street.

It was very close to the bus and train station. Perfect if you are walking or using public transportation. There was also a shared refrigerator and microwave.

The host/staff was very welcoming. Great location - near the biggest tourist spots, but quiet during the nights (nothing troubled our sleep). Nice river view. Very delicious meals at the restaurant.

What a fabulous place. I was born in Latvia and visit very often, I can honestly say this is our new favourite place to stay. Peaceful setting, lovely host, hot tub, sauna, pond to take a dip in. Absolute perfection.
Perfect place in beautiful surrounding. Rooms are clean and very nice. Bathroom was big. Beds are comftable. Room has nice balcolny. Room is quiet.

Nice place for kids to learn skiing during winter period. and for summer time its a place to enjoy nature and play golf. Rooms are nice and quiet. Breakfast is served in Cafe and it's possible to choose your preferences.
Very nice and cosy holiday home located in a quite place just few minutes walking from Turaida castle and "Kungu rija" restaurant. Both recommended for visiting. Super friendly and helpful hosts, thank you so much for warm welcoming. Definitely will come again someday.
The place was wonderful! A very cute and cool style house! A relaxing sauna and a private terrace where you can spend time with your family. There were many interesting sights and activities nearby. A great place to spend time with the family and enjoy peace and quiet! Everything necessary for life was available and the house was clean.
Host was very nice and helpful. Weekend house was clean and equipped will all the necessary stuff. We spend a great weekend there with sauna and good relax in quiet environment. Will look for opportunity to get there again.
