Brenda and Ron and the staff were amazing! Such good hosts. Espcially when just arriving in sri lanka. They arranged pick up and transfer to the next location with good drivers. The room was very Nice and clean.

Stayed here for two nights to recharge after a long flight. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, large shower room. Not too far from the airport and just over the road from the beach. Very helpful staff, booked us a taxi to Kandy with a stop-off at The Millennium Elephant Sanctuary- A must experience if you get the chance. Lots to eat at breakfast; Omelette, toast, fruit, smoothie and tea/coffee. Plenty of Restaurants nearby- recommend The Sea View (book in advance), and watching the sunset from The Sea Look restaurant on the beach.

The homestay is close to the airport, around 15mins driving distance. The host couple is very nice and kind. The room is huge. Bathroom is very clean and has hot water for shower. We arrived very late, but the hosts were nice and gave us welcome drinks. I like the family photos on the wall.

If you like nature and some quiet time, you should definitely plan to stay at Ging Oya. I know, I will again next time!
Ging Oya was EXACTLY what we needed after our flight from Australia. We stayed for 2 nights. It was quiet, peaceful and lounging in the pool with a view of the lake was beautiful. The staff were super helpful and the food was delicious. We have recommended Ging Oya Lodge to everyone we have met in Sri Lanka!

The service provided by Markus and his team was excellent. This included a taxi pick up from the airport at an ungodly hour - all arranged smoothly for us.
Fantastic beach front location.
Markus and Andrea were great hosts and the environment was very relaxed. There was everything we needed in the room - plenty of towels, lots of storage, fridge, mosquito net and big, comfy bed. Lovely pool and the evening meal and breakfasts we had were really good too.
