I can’t say enough good things about this property. It was immaculate, very modern, beautiful private porch that looked out the back garden which was very restful, listening to the birds and crickets. Lovely welcome drink and very thoughtful hosts always making sure you were comfortable, even putting out a citronella burner at night to keep the mosquitos away. The breakfast was outstanding, plentiful and delicious. The property is very close to the main attractions in the area. Wish I could have stayed longer .

Gangadiya Lodge is a small family-managed hotel in a quiet area just about five minutes away from the entrance to Sigiriya Rock. The family is very welcoming and has helped us with the organization of a Jeep Safari. They have their own tuktuk and were happy to drive us to Sigiriya Rock or to the village at a fair rate. Nice garden, excellent Sri Lankan breakfast.

Spacious room and outside area with a table. There was a fan and mosquito net provided. The host was kind and gave me fresh fruit and coconuts from the garden. It's a 15 minute walk out of the village so in a very quiet location with a pretty garden.

We had a fantastic stay at Sigiriya Palace View, it’s the perfect location to visit Sigiriya. The guesthouse is secluded enough that you have peace and quiet, and a great view of Sigiriya, but still close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and very comfortable, with a beautiful outside terrace. We ended up having dinner both nights at the guesthouse which was delicious. Suriya and his family were amazing hosts, very friendly and happy to help organise any activities/transport/meals.
Great location. Amazing views from property. Nice and quiet surrounding in the middle of the jungle. Hosts were great and very helpful. They helped us with any questions we w and helped us organize the safari. Accommodation was super clean. We would stay there again.

Great location just a bit away from main streets but in jungle and the sounds of thr birds when you wake up are beautiful.
