Big bed, spacious room. The caretaker made us breakfast to go on safari in the morning and cooked us 2 dinners which were so nice! Very close to the entrance of the national park. You can walk down to the lake at the end of the road also!

Pali and his family are sincerely warm and helpful. Pali introduced us to different restaurants where locals eat, and took us there personally. We were invited to join the family in a community New Year’s celebration and they prepared a surprise New Year’s Day breakfast feast.
The room was spacious and clean, quiet except for the roosting flocks of birds from the lake. Wonderful.

The family is very friendly and making you feel at home. We had a great time experiencing Anuradhapura but also the local habits. We cooked together with Gihan and his wife (including shopping for groceries), he drove us around the city to do sightseeing and he helped us with booking a driver for a safari at Wilpattu and made sure we got there. They even made sure we had some breakfast to take with us. All food was very good and value for money!
Definitely recommend to stay here.

Kurumba Lodge is a wonderful place with an awesome family. From the first welcome drink until the last moment of GoodBye it was an unforgettable lifetime for us. The son Naditha and his parents supported us in nearly every aspect, we could image. Wether it was some technical problems with my camera or an unforgettable safari – in every moment, they were so helpful.
The self made food, the drinks, everything tasted very well.
The place of the lodge is also very nice. The terrace with a wide view, all the wildlife animals – for us as nature lovers and photographers – perfect. And by the way, the bed, the matress, the AC – we slept like in heaven.
The hardest thing was to say goodbye, because it felt already like at home. We felt in love with these wonderful and heart warming people.

We stayed just the one night at Wilpattu Mookalan Resort with the view to do the safari early next morning. The managers of this accommodation are Leel and Buddhika who prepared lovely lunch and dinner for us.
We booked the morning safari with Leel and had a wonderful time. We spotted masses of bird species, deer's, a juvenile crocodile, elephants and a leopard( up a tree), plus... Breakfast and coffee were supplied with the safari.
Leel also organised our taxi back to Negombo. Both the safari, accommodation and taxi were all at very reasonable prices.

The treehouse is super nice located. It feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. The owners are nice and helpful. The location is super quiet. We 10/10 recommend to stay there!
It was an awesome stay. Close to the Nationalpark, directly in the nature. On our first day we did a little walk to the Nationalpark by foot and discovered the near by Lake. There is not much to Do arround but we enjoyed this quiete stay. When its dark you hear and See the nature arround. With moskito spray its a awesome experience.

This is an incredible place! 3 kms off the road, so peaceful, quiet and stunningly beautiful. The family are lovely... So helpful. The food was simple but excellent, with the addition of trays of tea produced when we got up and again at tea time. This stay was truly the highlight of our 3 week trip. They arranged a full day safari for us in Wilpattu National Park... And yes, we saw leopards! We really felt staying in the tree house was a magical experience, definitely not to be missed.
Wonderful place, quiet farmhouse in the middle of a agricultural fields and close to the national park. The facilities are brand new, rooms was super clean and bed was confy.
We had the opportunity to cook our meal with Sajith, the care taker. Great experience overall, we will come back definitely!
Stayed here a couple nights for the Tuktuk Tournament. Excellent location for Wilpattu National Park. Very cheap!! Good and plentiful breakfast. We were sent with a packed breakfast on the morning of our Wilpattu NP safari which was appreciated. Under cover parking for our TukTuk.
