The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is quiet as it’s outside Kandy. It’s easy to get into Kandy or back to the hotel via tuk tuk. The family who runs the holiday home are very kind and willing to help with anything you might need, laundry, tours, questions about the area. I was bitten by a dog while in Kandy and felt I had a family looking after me and checking in.
The breakfast is very good and there’s free drinking water.

What a view over the city of Kandy, this, combined with the knowledgeable host is all we needed to have two pleasant days. The staff is very helpful, the food wonderful and the room we had spacious for the five of us.

Kandy is just 20-25 min away from the resort. You can walk around the area near the hotel and there's a beautiful lake called Bandara Wawa.The views from the room were absolutely stunning, offering a peaceful and scenic landscape that added to the overall relaxation. Anure was incredibly hospitable. He arranged all our requests, including transportation to the airport, a tour around Kandy, and even helped with renting a scooter, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Overall, a perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility and excellent service.

Kandy town is a little hectic but being at Lalanga was like a perfect oasis of clean, peaceful and super kind environment. The family living here have now turn into friends of mine.
The food was excellent, the bathroom perfect and everything was clean and tidy. Beyond that I had a major computer issue while I was here and they came to the rescue and solved my problem. (( so beyond grateful))
If you are ok being 10 mins out of city Center which I recommend, this is a wonderful base to rest while in you are Sri Lanka. 5 stars!

It's a very very charming boutique hotel. It has an Italian design. The manager speaks good English and knows what hospitality is. He organised everything for us, was genuine interested and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is also good. And it's easy in this hotel to also meet other travellers (with families).
The views from the hotel are stunning, it's a little bit out of the city center but therefore also nice and quiet.
The lake view and quiet location are delightful in the morning. The guest house thrives primarily due to its two fantastic hosts, who took excellent care of me. Enjoying a beer and discussing politics with them was a warm and welcoming experience.
The recommended dance show is truly worth attending, even though the audience is predominantly white.
The guesthouse is a beautiful house in a great location. You can easily walk towards the centre in less than 15 minutes! the room was comfortable and had a wonderful view. during night its cool and quiet. The owner is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was also very tasty, since he‘s a former chef. :)

The best place to stay in Kandy! The room is spacious and very comfortable, one of the best beds we’ve had in Sri Lanka! Breakfast is delicious. As the accommodation is located outside of the city center, it is very quiet and peaceful. The host is great, he took care of all our pick-ups in and around Kandy and gave great advice.
Great hostel in Kandy. The staff was very attentive and friendly, kindly looking after us after some of the group fell sick after eating some bad food outside. The room was comfortable and clean, and the property is in a great location within walking distance to the temple and the downtown area.
Our two hosts were remarkably friendly, attentive and helpful. While the accommodation is located on the outskirts of Kandy (and is thus very quiet - a big plus in our opinion), the city centre and all the major sights are easily reachable by tuktuk. Our corner room with a balcony had a beautiful view over the river and the surrounding countryside. The breakfast - especially the fresh fruit - was delicious, varied and more than we could eat.
Lovely guesthouse with an absolutely charming and helpful hostess. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable right away. The accommodation is a bit outside the city center (about 10-15 minutes by tuktuk), which we really liked because it's peacefully quiet, and the huge balcony offers a wonderful view of the city. We opted to have dinner outside, but there were options available on-site as well. The breakfast was good and plentiful. If you want a short stop in Kandy without staying right in the city, this is the perfect place.
