The host was the kindest, most hospitable human being I've ever met. Him and his daughter greeted me with fresh coconut right from arrival.
The lawn to the room is spectacular, clean rooms to stay in, with big bathrooms just add to it. At night, you can see fireflies right outside your room with nothing but the sound of nature.
The family is extremely welcoming with delicious food -- they'll make you feel like you're a part of their family.
Highly recommend if you want to experience the true hospitality of Srilanka!

Room is well equipped and so comfortable-even we booked double room we had a comfortable stay with our 1 year old kid. And very near to many attractions.

Price was good but in the end I didn't stay as there was no aircon as listing said there was.

This is a lovely property in a great location for Dambulla, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa and Minneriya National Park. Lots to see and do all around here. The room was big and comfy, with great views. The staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fab and they went out of their way to accommodate my husband’s dietary needs. We also booked a safari through the hotel, this was last minute and our jeep arrived within 5 minutes. The price of the safari was cheaper than I found online too so that was a definite bonus.
We loved this property and would highly recommend it. The host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. He cooked us dinner each night and a breakfast each morning. Each meal had a massive spread of beautiful food. The property is extremely clean. It is close to Habarana to walk in if needed, however we didn’t do this as we were tired after a long day. Thank you for being a great host.
The host and his family were amazing, they helped us in everything and prepared us great breakfasts and dinners. The guest house in the middle of a beautiful garden is very cozy and makes you feel at home. The accommodation is a not far from the Hurulu ecopark and the lake. We highly recommend it to all nature lovers and lovers of quality home cooked food.

Jeewa was a great host! He was always trying to help and pretty much organised everything for us. The accommodation is very peaceful and the AC in the room was great.
We did several tours through him including Minneriya elephant safari, Sigiriya & Pidurangala rock, Spice garden, Cultural show and to get a Aryuwdric treatment. He dropped us off wherever we needed to go for a very cheap price.
The food cooked by Masha was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka!
3 night stay. Great hosts. Felt like I was welcomed into their own home. The breakfast were magnificent. I opted for the Asian breakfast, so tasty.

Excellent place! The rooms are spacious, very clean and modern. The place is quiet. There are only two rooms and are fully separated so you will not get noise from next door neighbours. The balcony is very nice to to sit there and relax. The owners are very friendly. Breakfast is delicious and even too much :)! Great location! Only 5 mins walk to big supermarket and bus stops. You can take bus easily to Sigiriya or also the tuk tuk is very cheap as the rocks are close by. There are direct buses to Kandy or Anuradhapura.

The host is very nice and helpful (stopped the bus for us, borrowed a charger, ...). The host only speaks little english. One time he did not understand us so he called his son Ishan to translate.
Breakfast and dinner were plenty, good and cheap.
Habanara is the perfect location to visit Polonnaruwa, Annuradhapura, Sigyria and Dambulla - even by bus. Habanara is nicer than Dambulla.
The host family were amazing! Very kind, friendly and helpful. Room spotlessly clean. Shower always had hot water and good power. Nice balcony with birdlife. Quiet place just a few minutes walk to supermarket and food outlets. Great location for visiting the rocks, cave temple, ancient capital and safari ecopark etc. The owner can arrange tuk tuk and safari for very good price.
