It was a wonderful stay. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the gentle sound of the nearby natural spring stream creates a deep connection with the environment. Additionally, it's conveniently close to Bandarawela town, with many nearby tourist attractions. They also organize well-planned and satisfying tours to Horton Plains and Ella, which I thoroughly enjoyed on my second visit.

Walking to the main central area of Ella is via a short cut thru the train tracks. Am experience one should not missed. Lovely views and quiet area. Suited for adventure walkers who doesn’t mind the uphill. Otherwise, a fast tuktuk ride can take you to the accomodation within about 10 minutes. This can also be organised with the owner should you wish. Traditional breakfast was fab ! Staff were lovely. The Pekoe trail is worth a try and can easily be accessed without a need for a walking guide.

We really loved the small cottages and the stunning view from the property. The terrace, where they served a large and varied breakfast was beautiful and cozy. The hosts were friendly and gave us some spray against leeches for our hike, which we ended up using a lot and were really grateful for.

View is awesome. Team has been very kind and friendly. Food was good. Rooms have enough space and balcony with a very nice view.
Although it can be hot in the valley, up at the top where the Hotel is located, you have sun, little wind going and no (!) humidity. Practically no mosquitos.
Very hospitable and helpful team. Since bigger cars cannot reach this mountain top they give you a ride with a small bus or tuk tuk (three wheeler). Price is also very affordable.

If you are mobility challenged, Ella generally is going to be an issue. This guesthouse is located up a steep limited access road. The rooms themselves are only accessible by 20 meters of stairs. However it is close to main street. Breakfast was plentiful. Hosts very obliging. And very peaceful at night. Bed comfortable.

The location has a wonderful green mountain view from panoramic windows and a balcony. The room is very comfortable and looks exactly like in the photos. The host is friendly and helpful, he speaks English very well. During my stay he took me to the city several times and gave me a little excursion.
I also liked home-cooked lunches from the host's mom, they prepared vegetarian meals of local cuisine for me.
Fantastic place with the best view over the valley, from a beautiful room. Close to nature, nice walks and a special birdlife right in front of the balcony. Exceptional good hosts, with the best english. All very clean and perfect wifi. I highly recommend!
