We had the absolute best stay at aqua blue!!! The location is just great, the beach is really close and there are a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. The room was nice and clean and we really loved the balcony with the hammock. The breakfast and food in general at aqua blue is absolutely delicious! But what I loved most about aqua blue is how warmly we were welcomed and how lovely everybody has been to us during our stay. Basheer and his team always did their best to make our stay as comfortable and amazing as possible. We felt like we were part of a family. Basheer also helped us with so many activities like surfing, safari, cooking class etc. which were such great experiences! There is no better place to stay in Arugam Bay than in the Aqua Blue Hotel!!!

Simply a 10. Super location, 5 mins walk from the beach and also very nearby all restaurants. The cabanas are very clean and there is plenty of room. Last but not least, the owners are really really nice!

The place is directly on the beach, we just need to walk out from the room and can see the amazing sandy beach. The staff was chilled and friendly, they take their time for everything (other comments can say the service is slow, but we felt the vibes of this relaxed atmosphere). :) we had a twin bed room, but they kindly attached it and set the bed again.
The breakfast was great. :) try the All I Avo Want.

It IS a wonderful place , fairly close to the city centre, but distant enough to be quiet and relaxed while listening to the waves at the room's porch. But the best thing is the people that works there, they are very helpfull and charming. Faish, the owner, will do everything he can to make you Happy. We recomend it!
Calm, peaceful but still very social atmosphere. Great hostel run by a lovely team. The facilities are consistently kept clean which I appreciated. The location was in a quiet area, but still walking distance to the Arugam bay main area. They also provided bicycles which was awesome.

The best place in Arugam Bay. A beautiful and well-kept yard. A clean, spacious and comfortable room - linen towels everything. A fun balcony to sit at night with a book in a hammock. Quiet and comfortable location close to many local restaurants with delicious and cheap food. And most importantly, Mohammed the owner is simply a charming and kind man who always makes sure that he is comfortable and indulges in the delicacies prepared by his mother
Great location, the beach is a 15 metres walk down the alley way. Restaurants and cafes close by and even has a little handy mart attached to the accommodation. The room was clean cool and quiet. The hosts were friendly and very welcoming. All in all a nice place to stay.
Alan is a great host at Eastwind. The location is great, being close to the surf breaks but being set back from the main road so it was quiet. There is a great outside area where you can sit and watch the monkeys and relax.
Really nice place, spacious rooms, good mattress, nice clean bathroom and really nice owner and host. They are very friendly, helpful and hardworking. The breakfast was good, everyday a fresh fruit juice.
Also the location is on the main road - but a 10 minute walk from the clubs/bars, which makes for quiet night without noise so you can sleep well. Also good restaurants/supermarkets and surfshops are close to the Surfers Park.
The price/quality is really good here and you'll feel right at home.
I stayed on Dorm AC Hostel and booked start with three nights and finally extended for 10 days. Amazing service and very nice helps from owner Sam for everything in here Sri Lanka. And 2 boys and 4 Girls we all are 7 and stayed on the Dorm. And also this is our 9 th guesthouse that we stayed in Sri Lanka.
