Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Very nice place to stay in Tripoli, friendly staff, who gave us some recommendations on what to see in the city next day. Great location close to the historical district, it is right around the corner. The furniture is a bit old, but its ok. I would recommend this place, even though its quite pricy.
Very nice boutique hotel, clean, interesting theme, helpful staff. Interesting “bar ally” nearby. Good bakery, w bagel breakfast sandwiches around the corner. Lebanese people always helpful.
This is a nice hotel, and probably the only one in the area where you would like to stay. 5 minutes walk to the Corniche. It has a lovely atmosphere, restaurants nearby. The staff is fabulous, and El Mina itself is charming. You cannot say that about Tripoli!
Charming place in a great location in the trendy area of Mina, Tripoli. right by the happening strip of bars and restaurants, yet tucked in a small alley away from the noise. The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. The room spacious and clean. highly recommended and would definitely go back.
Fantastic overall atmosphere and probably the best value for money anywhere in Lebanon during the high season: The design, location close to the sea, the size and layout of the rooms, as well as the small swimming pool and amazing hospitality of the staff. Running a boutique hotel in a converted villa at this level in this part of the world is impressive. As always you need to appreciate the context, culture and timing.
