Everything was perfect at Xuanmai Garden Resort. As soon as I arrived, I felt like at home. Ngoc is a great host and did everything to make me feel good. You can have breakfast/lunch/dinner, there's a huge choice of menu. The room is large and spacious. The garden is just amazing.
If you are looking for a quiet place, this resort is the good place for you !
It's a bit far away from the center (by walking) but I had a motorbike so this wasn't a problem for me!
I recommend this place of heaven 100%.
Boasting inner courtyard views, Bolaven trail guesthouse offers accommodation with terrace, around 700 metres from Wat Luang.

Xavier and his wife truly made the stay exceptional. I loved the location, especially the lovely walk along the river. They were incredibly helpful, providing fantastic food recommendations and arranging transport for me. Thank you for everything! :)

Beautiful place at the Mekong riverbank, great view on a typical Mekong scenario lof small rocks and islands in the river. First class food, always cooked with fresh ingredients and fresh oil. The owner even took us to a viewpoint at the temple on the nearby hill, and he and his wife helped us a lot to catch a transfer to our next destination. Very friendly atmosphere.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Property is just off the Main Street in Pakse, ideally situated from the bus station and restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Property was in good condition and typical for a cheap Lao guesthouse. The lady on reception spoke fantastic English, was very helpful and arranged transport to Pakse Airport for me for an extremely cheap price. For 215,000 Kip or $7 you can’t fault it.
Great guesthouse for Bolaven Loop people and anybody else passing through Pakse! The owner is very friendly and helpful with years of experience in Laos. Guesthouse is in a great location, very clean and comfortable. And we loved the breakfast!!! Great value for money. Would stay again.
- comfortable beds!!
- close to everything I needed while being there (local market for nice cheap food, the bike rentals, the temple to see next door)
- quiet hostel in a quiet area
A nice quiet location, but within walking distance of everything you need. A great & comfy guesthouse with the hosts making you feel right at home. The hosts are very nice, friendly & accommodating. Making your stay easy. Would return again & again
Ngoc was the best hostess ever! She took care of all our travel requests, always had a smile and cooked delicious meals....all for a very reasonable price
The guest house is in a quiet area
The hosts are super nice and friendly and really great location. Good priced food options and many restaurants surrounding the guest house for additional options.
Great location near Mekong River, restaurants, market, ATM and long haul bus station. Quite a funky hostel....almost like an old restored warehouse with some great "artsy" additions. Exceptionally clean and quiet (probably lucky I am not here in peak season). Staff were friendly and helpful in giving some advice, even with the slight language barrier. Great value for money.
This is a great hostel. One of the best where I have ever stayed.
Clean, super great facilities, great staff.
Free water refill. Free bananas.
They have a lot of useful extra services but they never push any of them on you. I rented a motorcycle and bought a bus ticket for my next destination from them simply because the prices were the cheapest I could find in the city or online.
I highly recommend this place.
Great host always ready to serve with information
or any kind of service. Location outside of city
center with free shuttle service. Nice pool. Close
to Paksé new market, mini-van tour spots and
friendship mall with convenient food court. Large
room and nice breakfast
