Location was very central to get to things, however if you are a light sleeper, then the music from some of the bars is likely to keep you awake until midnight when most close (plus another 30 minutes for them to walk back home giggling and shouting to each other!). Hotel can organise most activities, laundry, scooter hire, tours and onward transport for you (as can everywhere). Breakfast was good (although coffee was average). Overall we felt it was fair value for money (at Camellia Hotel)

We stayed 5 nights and would have happily stayed longer. The rooms are a bit run down but spotlessly clean and very spacious.
Anna is an absolute star, she took great care of us and made sure we had the best possible experience.
Scooter rental and activities are reasonably priced.

Everything is good. The breakfast is awesome. The view from my room is very good. We can see the balloons. The morning market is right outside of the guesthouse. The windows are sound-proof.
Not sure if it’s peak season now. If need to take train to Luang Prabang, better to buy earlier. I could not buy the tickets of regular seats 2 days before my leaving for Luang Prabang and needed to buy business class in the afternoon instead of morning train that I originally planned.

Great guesthouse in a quiet location but still close to the center in less than 10 minutes walking. Good breakfast and there is always fruit and tea available for free throughout the day. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony. The host was nice and offers a great selection of activities to do in Vang Vieng as well as train and bus tickets.
Beautiful and lush property. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Comfy bed. Beautiful wooden architecture high above the ground so didn’t feel the humidity. Charming little property.

We loved the beautiful view of Vang Vieng mountains and nice rooms on 2nd floor and staff was an absolute pleasure looking after our every need such as laundry, tour booking in a minute, tuktuk services and hot air balloon ride. We got upgraded to a better room without extra cost. The welcoming hosts offered enlightening discussions and valuable local travel tips.

I have spent a nice time at this lovely guesthouse.
The room was clean, the matress was good, the air-conditionning was a blessing and every comodity was at a walking distance.
The guesthouse is situated in a quiet neighborhood, next to the main area and the city center nightlife (10-15 min walking). The hostel staff was always happy to help : they arranged a train trip for me to the next city, did my laundry and gave me lots of tips. Will stay there again.
