this is a quirky place. clean, comfy, good wifi, great location for Phong su, local potteries, and rice trails. on the banks of the Mekong with amazing views and owner can arrange travel to 4000 Islands direct from Champasak. This trip was wonderful: down wooden steps to a narrow boat, cross the Mekong to the bus. all the google searches wanted a return to Pakse

The room was good and clean with AC and WiFi. The location is great with many restaurants around. Friendly staff. Champasak is really quiet and I enjoyed staying there and visiting Vat Phou.

There are some very good things about this guesthouse which I would love to highlight, but customer service is not one of them. Incredibly, the family who own and operate this guesthouse thought it was a good idea to hold a surprise 7 hour, drunken karaoke party just a few metres from our door. After several requests to stop they did eventually move a short distance, but the torture continued. I’m not sure how often they host karaoke parties, but I do know that there are several better hotels and guesthouses in town.

Row of bungalows in a well-kept garden facing the Mekong sunrise with excellent views. Basic clean comfortable room with individual terrace, peaceful and quiet. A 15 mins walk from the boat pier and 40 mins bicycle ride to Wat Phu. Motorbike and bicycle hire available and the helpful friendly owner can arrange transport to Si Phan Don Islands including pick-up by boat from the guesthouse. Post-pandemic (Dec-22) and very few tourists.
