Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
A family hostel. The staff (an old lady) was charming and friendly (only communicate in Russian). The hostel is just in front of the Caspian sea. A bus stop is near the hostel. There are a few mini shops around there.
Hotel have in the middle between 2 beaches, both 20 minutes to walk , Dostar are on the left side , right side are City centre beach and The Skalnaja tropa hiking trail. It’s cheapest hotel with some views on world’s largest lake -Caspian Sea. Hotel have good location, bus not so far also , city centre 30 minutes away.
- host (very polite, very friendly, very communicative, very attentive)
- location (almost city center, so there are a lot of supermarkets, restaurants, shops and malls nearby)
- quite modern furniture
- a lot of plates, bowls, glasses, knives, spoons and other similar things for the kitchen
- pretty good apartment building inside and outside
- a lot of space in the apartment
- good wi-fi
- bath in the bathroom
- price (it's good for Aktau)
The hostel is very new and very clean. Great value for money. Also, the owners are very friendly and helpful. We totally recommend this place. Even though it is not in the city center, the distance to the center by taxi is short and cheap. :-)
Large apartment with plenty of room to move about. It was close to the main parts of town. It was quiet with no road noise or noise from neighbours.
Great to have access to a washing machine.
Fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook meals from the apartment.
