Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The guesthouse is such a lovely place to stay. The owner speaks fluent English and she's such a nice person to talk to and ask for recommendations. The location is ideal, being close to the main street where there's a selection of restaurants to eat at, as well as convenience stores. The room was spotless, and extra towels and toilet roll were provided if needed. The bed was super comfy. Overall, it's a great place to stay
The owner (speaks English) was very helpful and helped us a lot with figuring out the correct bus/ferry/train times. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are new to the area and don’t speak Korean. The guesthouse is well situated next to the main bus terminal.
This is the best place to stay! Fabulous location in a beautiful area, overlooking the river, convenient to transport options, walking routes, town centre and lovely cafe on site. Great communication and really helpful hosts. Being able to use the kitchen was an added bonus. Quiet and comfortable stay.
A simple, nicely furnished, very clean and comfortable option with all the basic facilities and a generous outdoor decking and direct access to the beautiful mountain stream. Location is perfect for a quiet retreat and exploring Sobaeksan mountain hiking trails as well as the scenic Danyang region. The host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. The outdoor deck is perfect for chilling out, reading, and listening to the sound of the mountain stream while watching the sun set behind the distant hills.
The host couple is super supportive and offered range of help. Excellent location... Beautiful scenery and 2 minutes walk to bus terminal, a few major attractions nearby in walking distance.. Cozy cafe inside the guesthouse is a must try to enjoy the good vibes 😜🍰☕
Beautiful place to stay for several days.
The roof deck was great to enjoy the sun with a view.
Great location for activities in and out of Danyang.
After asking the host we could check in earlier.
It was super clean, quiet, cozy, with a nice terrace. the room has AC, but as the view is to the garden, opening the window is even better (and this is pretty rear in Korea!)
the host very responsive, place really felt like home. And Danyang is a must visit city, if you are a nature lover and prefer less crowded places. The best stay I had in three weeks in Korea! ❤️ a place I would come back to.
