- The host, Mrs. Lee will go above and beyond for you. She was even helping me out on her birthday helping me book a super early taxi to get to the airport (thanks again!)
- The warm rooms (I am already missing warm floor heating)
- Felt like I had the place to myself (There were other guests but didn’t run into them often)
- Great for first time visitors to Korea like me (close to train and buses, close to shopping street area, super fairy godmother-like Mrs. Lee to help you out just a quick text away)

very helpful and responsive staff. also had facilities like microwave and weighing scale in the common area for use whenever needed. i also liked that the property was double locked and had cctv which made me feel safe:) overall the place was very clean and comfortable!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Not the most sociable of hostels, but quiet, clean, comfortable and in a great location. The wifi was rather weak though, so not the best for those wanting to work.
The area is amazing, nice cafes and restaurants nearby, very quiet but safe. Also the guesthouse is located near the bus station and subway station - very convenient. You can also order laundry for a reasonable price. Wi-fi is also good. Hosts are also very helpful. The area is also located pretty close to some tourist sights where you can walk on foot
The guesthouse is located close to cafes, restaurants, shops and train station.
The breakfast meals prepared by the friendly host were delicious and diversified.
The room was spacious and quiet at night.
This accommodation has a great location - it's both quiet and central. It's not too far from the subway station, and there are plenty of options for eating out and grabbing coffee nearby. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and really comfortable. The hosts are super friendly, and the variety of Korean-style breakfast is absolutely delicious!
Great Guesthouse with great host! Extremely friendly and helpful. You get detailed instructions how to find the guest house and (if you arrive after 5 pm) how to do the self check-in. Everything went super smoothly. Can definitely recommend staying there!
enjoyed my stay at YAB guesthouse! chris and simon are great hosts - they were quick to respond to messages and help with requests. the guesthouse itself is in a great location in hongdae - near the main strip (but never got too loud at night!) and a 3 min walk from the subway.
rooms are slightly smaller than expected but the beds are comfy and you still have enough space to move around. there’s a common area too which was nice! the guesthouse felt busy but there were never major queues to use the bathroom/kitchen area.
