Lovely staff and welcoming environment. Amazing options to free paddleboard, snorkel, pool and kayak. Location is unbelievable and the party they had was brilliant. Aircon worked well too and was definitely needed.

The hosts were super friendly and chatty, in a lovely location only about 3 min walk from the beach or 15 min to the secluded nearby beach. Toilets and showers were clean and well stocked. The whole island lost power between 9am-12pm but this was not their fault. The dumplings were very tasty be sure to try. Also mosquito nets on the bed was a life saver as the air was filled with bugs in the area. Their cat Bruno was very cute too!

Really enjoyed our stay at Baloo Guesthouse. Simon was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. Room was excellent value for money and only a short walk from the two beaches.
Very sweet hostfamily, super helpful and friendly. Amazing garden and great vibes, clean accommodation and free water refill. The placing of the guesthouse is great close to the beach and restaurants, but still quiet at night.
Charming design, blue and pink, bathroom separated, pillows and sheets smelt amazing! Good food/restaurant, great host, who answer the very many questions we asked, helped with the speed ferry reservations!!!
It's a new guesthouse and very clean with really nice en-suite room. Really nice after travelling in hostels for so long. Very close to the beach and shops/restaurants.
Sam was a great host and had many recommendations for the best places to eat and knew everything there was to know about things to do. (Thanks again for the poker games too!!). She even helped us book our onwards travel.
The dog is very funny, we had a great night with him singing for us!

the guest house is about a 5/8 minute walk from pier where boat drops you off..I stayed in a wooden bungalow with bathroom & fan,room was basic but clean and comfortable and good value for money.all the bungalows are set in a nice garden area with hammocks mmm and there is restaurant where you can relax,nice and quiet at nighttime..Isaan and his family were lovely people and great hosts,and when I’m back in M’Pai bay will definitely stay there again..
I really had a great time here. The huts are very nice and clean. It's a party hostel but the area is big enough for anyone who doesn't want to party right now. Food is delicious and affordable. drinks are cheap and make you drunk. so what more do you need? Woody!! he is the best. always in a good mood and makes sure everyone is doing well, a really great guy. all in all a great hostel to make friends and have fun
