We loved our stay at Tumar! We were a bit hesitant about booking because we saw a review about no toilet paper but she gave us more rolls than we would ever need. The place is new and very very clean - it was our nicest stay in Kyrgyzstan especially considering the price! The host is the sweetest woman, she checked us in and helped us with any questions, her English is great! There is a cute little pastry stop downstairs her mom runs, and the CBT. And there’s a laundry machine which was a lifesaver after the hiking we’ve been doing. Couldn’t recommend more!

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Aiganysh is a great hostess: she organised my onward travel to Kel-Suu and on my final morning drove me to the local bus station so that I wouldn't miss my marshrutka. She couldn't have been more helpful!
A friendly hostess and her sweet daughter met me at the hotel gate and placed in a bright, spacious room, which is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
Although this guest house does not provide breakfast, the hostess, understanding my situation (I needed to eat to take pills), prepared an excellent breakfast and refused to take money for it.
My trip to Naryn will certainly be associated with this kind gesture.
Kezgin guest house is a really nice quiet place to relax between hikes and yurts, if your looking for comfort, good breakfast, easy checkin, english speaking staff then go here.
Naryn Guest house has a great location and exceptional hosts. They were friendly and very helpful and we were able to have nice conversations with them in English The breakfast was amazing and fresh and very big! The rooms were very clean and spacious. We loved our stay here and would recommend it.
Jamal is a very welcoming host.
The guest house is like being at home. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and powerful wifi.
It is very close to shops, restaurants.
The high mountains are all around and the fast flowing river is 50m away

This is a proper guesthouse. The host is very kind and welcoming. Very well situated next to the Naryn bus stop on a side street for peace and quiet. There is a nice restaurant adjacent to it as well. Great value for money and very comfortable.
Nusara is a great host, she’ll try everything that you spend a great time in the guesthouse. The rooms are big with enough space and include a bathroom.
We could leave our bags there for 2 days and Nusara made some homemade sweets for us to enjoy while having tee.
We had an extremely comfortable stay at Naryn Guest House, the hosts treated us to copious amounts of tea, biscuits and local jams. The breakfasts were also very tasty. Ilim, the guesthouse owner speaks great English and is extremely helpful with organising plans to visit the local sites and getting out to the mountains!
Looking forward to visiting Naryn again sometime soon, now my favourite city in Kyrgyzstan.
