I had a wonderful time here and the accommodation is surrounded by a beautiful forest and a river. It was very clean, the breakfast the best I had on Kenya. The owner is very friendly and helpful and also the stuff is great. I can recommend staying here. It an oasis within a big city and the area is very safe. Thank you so much for having me and helping me. Next time I’m here, I will come back.

Absolutely amazing place. I stayed here so I could visit the giraffe centre which is close by. The cottages are spacious, comfortable and clean. The host was like my mum - very caring and wanted to look after me. She is such a special and amazing lady. I have travelled to so many destinations and this is definitely one of the best places I have stayed in. I wish I stayed longer!

Green area, cute landscape, small pond inside home with monkeys on trees- and very nice staff making yummy pan cakes (must try) in breakfast. All 😍 and very neet and clean everywhere. The pet (dog 8 months age) mr Baraka was very loving. He felt when we were checking out and came to say goodby.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
I used Nairobi as a base from which to organise my tours and activities so I stayed at Nairobi backpackers several times in-between each activity.
I had a comfortable stay in one of the dorms and managed to meet a couple of people at the hostel (despite the fact that it was a bit quieter given that it was low season).
Steven who looks after the place is nice and provided a warm welcome. He also arranged for me to attend a 4 day safari at a competitive price (cheaper than what I found elsewhere).
Very friendly host. Breakfast with daily changing fresh fruits, toast and eggs. Clean room. Quiet neighbourhood a bit off the city center. Good WiFi, had one longer blackout but this seems unusual.
A beautiful house in the lovely area of Karen. This is a great location if you want a quiet and restful place to explore the area. Close to the Karen Blixen museum and giraffe center. The hosts are wonderful and helpful. You feel very much at home in this place. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to explore the area.
Great location, quiet and serene neighbourhood with great views, the host was very helpful and kind, the house was very clean, access to many amenities and it was an all round great experience! Would definitely go again.
Ambience: the place is truly a home away from home. Quiet serene environment well-maintained garden. I enjoyed sitting on the terrace looking at the garden and listening to the birds sing. It was nice to come from a busy day of work and stay at this peaceful guest house. The host is also great everything went so smoothly and I enjoyed every bit of my stay

Great location, yes!
Hostel and backpacking vibe, yes!
Susan is a great host, and she is running a great hostel. I got loads of great local tips from her, and it feels like a home away from home.
Everything was perfect, I know where to stay once I'm back in Nairobi
Couldn’t give a better review, Victoria was a great host who went above and beyond for us, the apartment was absolutely amazing, it’s in a great location and right opposite a mall. Housekeeper was provided and she was absolutely lovely. Will recommend this place to everyone I know and if i’m ever in Nairobi I will definitely stay here again. Thank you again.
