Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Amira Homes. The place is clean, spacious, and cosy, with a beautiful aesthetic design that makes it feel like a true home away from home.
The host is rather friendly, with flexible check-out times, allowing you to leave at your convenience. I highly recommend this rental.
The facilities were exceptionally clean and very quiet.
The staff very welcoming and friendly. Namely Paul, Alice and Esther. The stay was worth every effort they put.
Most notable was a free of charge room upgrade organized by the administrator. Words can not express our gratitude. It was an awesome experience. Thank you so much and i will not hesitate to come again and or recommend friends and assosiates.
You dont get to have the breakfast at the apartment. We found a voucher for a free breakfast at a nearby Coffee Shop. Pleasantly surprised- Mambo Breakfast they call it. Its a quiet neghborhood, residential it seems and not the typical short-stay apartment like set up. If you are visiting Eastern Kenya, you'd definitely want to try this place- worthwhile.
I love the decor, the amenities. The beds were very comfortable. The host was kind and very responsive.
There was water available throughout. The area is quiet and conducive at night away from noise and clubs.
With all the kitchen equipment you could need. Wifi is available and table with chairs you can work on with your laptop.
Overall an exceptional experience.
Loved the big bed, the view from the right side towards the hills in the bedroom.....pov: sleep with curtains open, leave sheers on..you will enjoy your sleep
Quiet, serene, shops close by a lot of friendlies.....💖💖💖
Clean, food was great. Great location, very quiet with superb views, it's a sweet escape in the outback. Zack and his team are awesome hosts, always tending to us, personally. The road is all weather and quite OK even for smaller cars.
