Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Had a lovely stay here. The owners are very kind and friendly, and have a really nice setup inside the guesthouse. Everything is clean and comfy, and the house has a lot of personality. Location is good, close to the station, shops, and sightseeing spots.
Very nice place, with very friendly young family who run the place, both speak very good english. 2 big and beautiful rooma to hang around. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Feels more like fancy.air bnb than a hostel.
If you come to Uwajima - which is definetly worth a visit- this is the best place tp stay. Hope that we can come again one day.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Bike friendly hostel with a safe place to park bicycles and pumps and tools to borrow. They recommended a nice izakaya for dinner and it was a great. Bed was really comfy.
The Guesthouse has a really nice and big shared space, with an easy to use kitchen, a tatami room and a campfire chill room. Totally awesome.
The owners were very kind and friendly!
The Guesthouse is also conveniently located in Uwajima City. Restaurants, a supermarket, convenience store and the station are easily accessible and it is also only a short walk to the castle.
I really wished I could have stayed longer and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend for those who enjoy staying in Guesthouses.
Clean rooms and facilities, great location, a Family Mart conveniently situated next to the hotel lobby, and very helpful staff — they went out of their way to help me secure my next accommodation, as I didn't have a local phone number and my Japanese language proficiency is not at a level to make my own reservation.
Very welcoming couple, provide everything you need, charming rooms, lots of space downstairs, good coffee.
