We were doing the Henro hike. We booked this last minute. They were very helpful with getting our laundry done, which was a major concern. Very quiet and the bakery next door was top notch.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Great Hostel offering everything you could ask for. Nice staff, typical shower rooms, option for bike rental, small breakfast, comfortable bed, private locker
Great hostel from where you can start the Shikoku 88 pilgrimage. They offer the possibility of leaving luggage behind that you can pick up after finishing the pilgrimage.
It's a nice spot to meet either starting or finishing Ohenro's.
A nice hostel that is a few minutes away walking from the central area of Tokushima. It was my first hostel on Shikoku and I left my bag here to pick it up again after my pilgrimage. Due to its price, it's a good place to stay and also because baggage storage the perfect place to start your pilgrimage.
The dorm is comfortable and you have your own cabin. People in general are quiet.
Included is breakfast, nothing super special but OK.
Everything was extremely clean and simply perfect. Ken is the best host you can find. His house is totally fully equipped. All sort of things you need there are inside the flat. The flat is extremely quiet and peaceful
No issue for finding him and no problems for the keys
He replies fastly to email and to phone calls and HE SPEAKS ENGLISH :)
Super suggested!!!!!
Highly recommended! Very cosy hostel, nice room with balcony (we stayed in a double room with bathroom) and super comfortable mattress! Everything was very clean! Good breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpfull, even booked us a room at a Henro House for the next night. The hostel is only a 5 minute walk away from the train station in a very quiet sidestreet.
