This is an amazing place. The owner has successfully renovated a 100-year old Japanese house into a tasteful, cozy and comfortable guesthouse, integrating original, traditional and modern elements. The highlight is definitely the bath, which allows one to indulge in a luxurious soak, reminiscent of the public bath that once stood here a century ago. The art cafe next door is also a gem, recreating the previous public bath into a cafe with a vintage feel alongside the display of artwork of Mr. Naoto Hikata.
