Large, cozy and very clean Japanese style house. A perfect combination of traditional and modern. It is possible to watch Netflix and YouTube on the big screen. There is beautiful nature and good cafes around. Thank you very much, we will definitely be back.

It‘s a spaceous one-story house with many beds, a small basic kitchen, a shower, toilet, tv etc. We especially enjoyed the coffee machine and the free variety of tea. The owner is very kind and friendly and offered to drive us to an onsen in the evening.

Cozy, character, had everything I needed. Walking distance to bus stop which then takes you to Shizuoka Station. Love the cafe on the first floor. It’s a nice chance to speak with the locals in the morning who stop in for breakfast. Highly recommend trying the sausage restaurant on the recommended list and a soba noodle place at 21 Togiyacho, Aoi Ward. Both are walking distance and everything is handmade. Another great place is the Traditional Hand Craft Arts center.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Stayed for a weekend with this fantastic family in the middle of their tea farm.
The host made us feel at home, offering tea and helping us move from the train station and back.
All the meals were freshly cooked, delicious and very good portion. hosts also helped us organising the trip to the suspension bridge. We loved sharing the space with them and the cats!
Experience the true culture and connect with amazing people, highly recommend.
Clean and efficient. The bento breakfasts were several varieties and could be eaten at anytime. Elevators were fast and the onsen was clean and fairly spacious. I felt the rooms were quiet and the views were nice on the upper floors.
