The hostel and facilities are excellent. The rooms are spacious with good bathroom and shower facilities. There are additional showers available via the common area. The common area was very large and had a full kitchen. There was also a TV and shelves with books/magazines. Each dorm bed had a light and an outlet. That was handy. The lady I checked in with was very kind and polite. She also answered messages I'd sent that day very promptly.
There were lots of free bottled water, cola, tea/coffee and snacks. Lots of toiletries you can use.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower and toilet were clean.
It is a bit of a walk from Nagoya station, but there are other stations nearby so this wasn't an issue for me.

As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed by the staff. Minami-chan was so kind and told me all about local places to check out, including where to get dinner and breakfast. There is also a cafe at the guest house and it was a comfortable area to relax outside of my room. The decor and architecture of the home are traditional and modern at the same time. It’s so beautiful, warm and charming!!
