Everything was very clean and all the guest at the time of our stay were very respectful.
The bedroom was actually pretty wide and easily accessible.

Emisan is amazing. She provided us with little gems about Matsue what to do, so we filled up all our 4 days we had in Matsue.
The room was really nice and we had a little garden as well. The kitchen was nice and clean and you could reach everything by foot.
She even has a small tearoom and she invited us to have Matcha tea and sweets.

Yuji, our host, was very helpful and welcoming. We had some very good conversations with him. Also, he kindly offered to give us a lift to the train/bus station to save us a 30 minute walk which we gratefully accepted. We virtually had the Guesthouse to ourselves with only one other guest there whom we hardly ever saw. We would stay here again if we came back.

Beautiful Japanese house where every design detail inside and outside the house has been considered. Mukuge San is a fantastic host and super super helpful.
Jock is a wonderful host, very giving with his time and tips. Made us takoyaki, which was yum!!! Parents found the chairs a bit hard (used to a sofa :) ), but it was fine. Location was fine, ten mins to at least 2 supermarkets and maybe 15 mins to main train station - easy to walk.
It was an old house renovated nicely and had its own stand out taste. The amenities were well prepared and very useful. The communication with the host was also very smooth and quick.
