The staff were very friendly. I found the bed comfortable and the whole quest house was very charming. The restaurant attached to the guest house was good and convenient, and the view of the garden from there was lovely. It is two minutes away from Mitaki-dera, which I found to be an underrated beautiful place, now one of my favorite temples I have visited.

Great location a few minutes peace park museum. Hostel was very clean, organized and attractive. Large stocked kitchen lounge was great. On site coin laundry was a bonus. Bikes were good, but they are not included. You need to rent them at a fair price. Quiet place. Linens were good. You have to rent towels. Wifi was good. Luggage room available on ground floor.

We reserved a “family room” and it was basically a wing of the guesthouse - very spacious and private. The shared toilet was clean. We appreciated the dinner (included) and enjoyed the opportunity to chat with other guests, who came from all over the world. On the Booking.com map, the guesthouse looks like it’s quite some distance from the town, but that’s misleading. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the harbor but in the town itself, if slightly uphill, and everything is within pretty easy walking distance. Miyajima can get quite crowded and busy, but the guesthouse was a little oasis of quiet.
