The location is great, and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Especially, a separate heated ski gear room to dry all wet gears is a great addition. I can take wax and edge tools to make my ski top shape for every day. Great !!

Okamisan (owner) is so lovely and we enjoyed her home made dinner and breakfast. We’d like to come back to this Ryokan. Bus stop to Nozawa ski area is next to it, so it was convenient, too.

Absolutely incredible stay. The owners were so lovely and helpful with anything you needed. Facilities were great and the private onsens were great after a long day skiing. The lodge is pretty much a ski in ski out. Its just a short walk from the ski storage room at the accomodation to the snow. Breakfast was great. Room was perfect, clean and spacious. I wish I could rate this accomodation higher than a 10. Was genuinely incredible and for a very fair price. Thank you for such a great stay. I will be back!

The manager can speak English so you do not need to worry if your Japanese is not good. We rented the big room with toilet and shower inside, everything is clean and necessities are fully provided. You can ask them to prepare dinner (before you arrive, using their website) and breakfast (you can ask them when you check in), the food is delicious and you can eat as much as you want. It is close to Nozawa ski's Nagasaka station so you do not have to walk so much (about 100m) to reach ski area. We rented their snowboard gears (discounted price for guess), the manager will make adjustment to make sure it's fit and comfortable for each person, and their gears are in excellent condition, so we ended up rented them for the next day even thought we only stayed there for 1 night. You can also buy ski tickets directly from them, so you can immediately enjoy the slope next morning.

The owner is a incredible sweet woman. I would have like to talk more with her but I had to leave.
I stayed in a big traditional room, very comfortable and warm, equipped with kotatsu, futon and a heater, so you won't be cold at all. You can also leave your skis on a dedicated room they have for it. The breakfast was a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast.
I would repeat it for sure.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Wonderful stay, host was very welcoming and accommodating and assisted with making bookings, getting lift tickets, and recommending where to eat. The breakfast at the property is exceptional value and the fresh fruit that was included was very welcome and delicious. The Onsen at the property was also very convenient, as was the robe provided. 15min walk into the centre of town, and 4 mins to the closest ski lift. I would recommend this property and stay again.
Supercute guest house, you can’t be any closer to the slopes! The rooms were great for our family. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would love to come.
Great location! Close to O-Yu st, there’s a bar across the road, and Totarina and Jiyu Gekijo, two excellent little restaurants are minutes away. The hotel is very clean with excellent hosts. Beautiful little garden on the path down to the entrance. Great Onsen 30m away and a very nice “bath” (really a mini Onsen) in the hotel as well. And do try the Japanese breakfast. All in all, amazing value and really can’t be faulted.
The offered breakfast for Y1,000 was fantastic. Filling and a range of Japanese breakfast offerings. Location was good, with a bus stop right on the corner of the hotel location. Bus could take us into the city centre or up to the snow lifts but stops at 5pm, keep that in mind. Host was fantastic, always friendly and helpful service.
The hotel is cosy, rooms are charming and having the toilet there was very convenient.
The location is good, not too far from the center of the village. We had a car and there was a parking lot across the street from the hotel. The hosts are kind and helpful, they changed my room when I requested because the first one was on the street side and we could hear the cars.
The bathroom is shared, japanese style with onsen, and it was warm and clean. Both times I went, it was empty so just me.
Very good value for money!
The Villa was fantastic..great facilities, always clean. great location in centre of town, walking distance to everywhere including ski slopes. the family run Villa was endearing and the hosts loved chatting and helping the guests. The Villa was in a quiet spot and just across the road from an Onsen.. The family were very kind to us and made our stay special. I would book again
