The most beautiful, quiet Japanese house for first time travellers! Facilities were great and location was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of cafes and local stores (ceramic stores) surrounding hotel which was awesome for exploring. Although it is out of Okayama, staying in Kurashiki was much better to get away from busy crowds. Highly recommended, worth the money!!

Great location, walking distance of few minutes from train station and close to the historic city centre. We have booked two rooms. Rooms were spotlessly clean and with all amenities one needs. We loved the onsen.

The hostel is located directly in the old town. It is perfect is you want to wander early in the morning or at night when there is nobody. The place is quiet and clean. They have a restaurant downstairs which makes it convenient if you are too tired to search for a place to eat.

Very cool hostel with a hipster style. I went off season so it was too quiet and I had the whole dormitory for myself. The breakfast (egg sandwich) with coffe/tea was very good.

Very cute and warm guest house in the centre of the historical area. The host is very nice and speaks excellent English. Excellent communication even in the pre-arrival period. Had amenities and free water, tea and coffee. The welcome drink was very sweet and heart warming. Not staffed after the night but generally it was secured.
