The host was great. She is calm and gentle and answers every question I had with some English and some google translate. We were able to even have conversations. The room was comfy. If you are looking for an experience of a smaller ryokan, this is the place. Close to subway station. Shinjuku and Shibuya are easy to get to. Coin laundry next door, which we used and was convenient. 7/11 next door which we used to send our luggage ahead to the next location and that was convenient too! The reception lobby area is set up like a cute retro cafe. Super cute.

This accommodation's hosts are nothing but the most thoughtful and caring! They are so easy to approach and replies quickly when anything is needed. Their guesthouse is so clean and comfy and got everything you need, you can easily feel at home. OK Hashiba is less than a minute walk away, so convenient. It's also very near the Sumida Park and river. Tokyo Skytree can be clearly seen from the accommodation room's windows. We loved our stay so much!

You get the whole floor to yourself and the one we booked had a lovely balcony. Very spacious unlike any hotels in Tokyo which we liked very much as we were travelling as a family. You really get to feel at home once you’re there. Superb location and the check in was seamless. Host is also very friendly and helpful when we needed assistance to use the laundry machine.

I really like how it is a traditional Japanese home with sliding doors. I also loved the ladies working in the Hostel they were very sweet!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Micro apartment had everything and more to survive including working appliances, lots of lighting, air conditioner, table to eat, bath, shower head, washing machine and balcony. It was so quiet, the area is quite rowdy but easy to deal with and felt very safe in the building during the stay.
It was close to the train station for easy access and very secure. The room was clean and tidy. The host was very helpful with directions to the accommodation and responded quickly to any queries that I had.
Great hotel and location is also great next to a 7/11 and train station. Staff are brilliant, very friendly and attentive.Hotel is one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen and the facilities are lovely. Showers are traditional Japanese with the hot spa pool as well. Laundry facilities also worked well and are cheap.
The location very near the train station was very convenient. The sticker system to let the host know if you want your sheets changes and rubbish cleared. Or leaving your towels out in a bag for it to be replaced without entering the room. Breakfast provided is plain with just toast with the occasional sweet buns. The microwave and a full mid size fridge was good.
Great size for a couple, nicely arrange, have what you expect for a small apartment, the host was very nice, close to the train (like 3-4 min walk), and you can get to central tokyo in 20 minutes, super market and don quijote are available and near, some really nice place to eat around, and if you stay long enough there is also a gym 2 blocks from there.
Overall, we would reserve another week if we could.
A cheap hotel located around 25 minutes from Ikebukuro and Shinjuku, easily to get to with only 1 change using the trains. Very close to Nishi-Kawaguchi station.
The room is basic but clean. The shared bath and shower area was always clean. Shared bathrooms were also kept clean and tidy. Staff at reception were always welcoming and patient with my understanding of Japanese.
Great ear plugs provided in the room.
