We were of 2 adults and 2 kids (5&10)
We stayed 3 weeks!!!
We have but great things to say... And lots of great memories.
The guesthouse was so inviting. Everything was so clean and organized. We had everything we needed. The host has meticulously thought of so many details to make your stay enjoyable.
All the kitchenware was clean and worked well. Complimentary coffee and tea. They provided slippers, laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner.
They provided extra linen's when requested.
We even got tired of eating out some nights, so we cooked lots in the kitchen.
We saw many guests come and go, they all seemed to have a great time. It was a quiet place, and it never felt crowded.
We felt very safe, as the house was well locked at night and was in a great quiet location.
The bathrooms we're shared, but we always felt like we were the only ones because everything was so clean. The main floor guest had their own bathroom but the upstairs you share.
The showers we're spectated (male/female).
Our room upstairs was spacious with lots of bright natural light. Beautiful tatami flooring and paper window decor.
The host, keeps this place at a high standard . Cleaning staff are there every day, to assure you have a relaxed and clean stay.
The host was always close by and was very responsive. He was very helpful and even made some reservations for us as we didn't speak Japanese. He went beyond our expectations, and he became part of our family memories.
We were 5 minutes from a shopping mall with a grocery store. We were about a 10 minute walk to the boutique shopping and street food district.
Lots of restaurants around the house as well , all within walking distance.
I highly recommend this place 100 percent!
Cheers from Canada!

Beautiful little guest house, near historic streets. The host was extremely helpful answering any questions we had in a very timely manner. She reserved a taxi for us when we wanted to go to a museum and she was super helpful for other questions. Matsumoto Castle was one of the most beautiful castles we saw in all of Japan.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Beautifully kept room with stunning view and host went above and beyond for us. Thank you Mika!!
