Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
nice place to stay, at night you can see the sky full of star
breakfast is awesome
host is really nice he introduce us the best restaurant in town- we ate shabu beef
We have enjoyed our stay in this guesthouse. Felt very cozy here. We had a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Staff were friendly and he recommended me a fabulous Yakiniku Place. Best Yakiniku we have tasted. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant.
Great location, just s stone's throw from the train station, buses and a taxi rank, and with lots of restaurants nearby. Room was predictably small, so not really a place to spend time in, but clean and perfectly comfortable for a night or two. Decent breakfast included in the price, and although little English was spoken staff were cheerful and eager to please.
The host was very nice and friendly! The breakfast prepared was also very yummy. The goat was cute too. The property was well-situated for us to visit key sights in the area like Genbikei, Geibikei, Chusonji, and Hiraizumi.
Very friendly host, we had a late check-in and he was ready for us to arrive. The room was nice, the common area had availability of tea and coffee and lots of stuff for reading.
It is just near the Geibekei Gorge, so you can walk there, and the guesthouse let me leave my bag there . It's a lovely stay, pristine and tidy. Hot tea is free in the dining area. The staff are attentive and welcoming.
Very cute and cozy guesthouse with friendly host family. Service with a smile. Casual + very rustic and artsy. Wonderful atmosphere. Easy to relax in the common area with our own drinks off hours. Excellent food. So healthy! Great location. East to walk from the train and to the gorge. Helpful staff. Great heating and lovely comforters.
