The location was close to a beach where we walked over to watch an amazing sunrise. Last minute opted for the breakfast, which I've no regrets for as it was delicious with homebaked bread and homemade butter 💕 there is a cafe space to hang around as well and it's close to a restaurant with beautiful chicken namban. The host and her dad were so lovely. Overall enjoyed my stay here and wish I had more days. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Hyuga.

Super friendly family that is running this guest house. I felt very welcomed and comfortable. They also run a café with super delicious food, that is mainly prepared using their kiln.

Excellent hostel, clean room, good AC. Good common areas and clean facilities. Close to beach and little crabs roaming around the yard and the forest next to the hostel. A little hard to find with GPS but has signs from the road so look out for them. Good parking.

Fantastic design small boutique hotel. We loved our stay there, special mention to the nice family owner and Sono, who takes care of the guests with them. The plus : getting to visit an area which is under the tourism radar

The house is approximately 150 years old and has been nicely refurbished. All in all we had a great stay! Since we were only 2 persons, we did not mind that there is only one large sleeping room. Due to the old building structure, you obviously hear everything that is going on outside (cars, people talking, etc.) but we did not feel disturbed by it, since it was quiet at night and we could have a good nights sleep. The Mimitsu neighbourhood is just beautiful, calm and we only experienced friendly people there!

This guesthouse is located in the historical district of Mimitsu (Hyuga), which is a beautiful area. Kei is an amazing host, we talked quite a lot and it made my stay feel more like visiting a friend than anything. I'll be back soon!

The owners and their daughter Yuki are SO friendly. They have golden hearts, make time to talk to you. The breakfast and dinner is really good, definitely try the quatro fromagi pizza, it was delicious. Everything was neat and clean. I like my traditional Japanese room with the tatami mats. Nice view on the palmtrees and sea. The bus stops right at the guesthouse.

Great shower, great kitchen, comfortable bed, spacious room and it just has a warm and homely feeling. Best of all is Yuki! She is so wonderful. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed being shown around a guesthouse that much. It's impressive how good her English is. The views from the guesthouse are beautiful. I really hope to stay again one day!

Really clean, spacious room, close from the train station which was good for me as I arrived late. Great host, had to pay at the location but could do so with a card. Starbucks nearby for early coffee.
