We only stayed for one night for the firework festival. The owner of the Guest House is super friendly and helpful. He showed us on a map where were the places that worth visiting when we asked him about it. Also, he allowed us to leave our luggages in the Guest House after checking out. When we tried to pick up the luggages, it was raining so hard. He even gave us 2 umbrellas so we could go to the train station without getting wet. We really appreciate his kindness to make our Japan trip pleasant and memorable.

Very friendly hosts, they picked me up from the station when I could not find the place.
They also invited me to their family barbecue which was really kind.

It was close to the beach so it works out perfectly when I wanted to see the fireworks festival. Overall, the guy helped me bring my heavy luggage up which I appreciate.

It was clean and comfortable, shared kitchen had microwaves, pots, pans, and a stovetop so it was very easy for us to prepare our own dinner.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Food, staff, and location. The hotel is not far from the JR station, and it is convenient for people not driving. Staff is nice and attentive to detail. The food, especially the grilled fish, is delicious. This boutique hotel is valued for money given that two private onsen rooms are offered for all guests. I highly recommend this place for people who look for a quiet and relaxing onsen trip.
The traditional style of the Inn was charming and we really appreciated the lovely, friendly and welcoming host. The location is fairly good as only about 7mins from the station. The beach is about 15minutes walk.
Great guesthouse, top location, secluded and quiet yet still super central.
Their Onsen is Beautiful and exactly what is needed after a long day of hiking.
They took care of my bag for a few days while I went down the coast, very generous and kind gesture!
The location overlooks the older part of Atami. You are maybe 3 blocks away from the main beach area of Atami. You're right next to the main shopping arcade where all the viral shopping things/eats are. The area is less crowded than the area around the JR station. My favourite part was when someone opened the lounge windows as this hostel is on the 3rd floor of a building well above the resort city skyline. The facilities were clean, and the hostel was quiet.
The house is located few minutes walk from the train station, in a quiet street. We stayed in a large traditional Japanese room. Futon beds were comfortable. Host was very kind and affectionate. There is a small onsen bath in the house. We felt like visiting family.
In a quiet area close to Izu-Taga station, clean, wide and spacious room with a nice view of the ocean. Convenience stores nearby. The host was lovely, he gave us a lift to the station when it was raining.
Excellent value, great location if travelling without a car, quiet rooms, excellent beds and a charming mini-breakfast included in the price. Friendly and helpful staff.
Easy automatic check in - with the assistance of the helpful reception.
Visit the 'MOA' nearby, up on the steep hill behind the hotel. Easier by bus > 'MOA', leaving from the train station nearby and walking back. This museum is amazing and offers an impressive panoramic view of Atami.
Located 5 min walk from Atami station in a quiet location. Older style traditional Japanese guesthouse. Tatami rooms with TV and aircon. Good value for money in this region. Host very helpful in showing guests around local attractions and providing snacks free of charge. Bathroom a bit dated but clean and functional. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Comfortable..
