Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Perfect place to stay at Dana. Great location, authentic food and Malik the owner is a outstanding host. The rooms has perfect view to the valley and sunset. Defintitiv a place to go always back.
The "tent" was awesome, a lot of space, our own toilets and shower. The location was good, with a nice view after a short walk, a quiet spot.
The food was awesome for a little price, and a nice breakfast. The host was very nice too, and gave us tips for what to do around.
The Hobbits village is a charming retreat in a fantastic location. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms are quiet and true to the pictures, offering a cozy atmosphere. The small size adds to its charm, making it a delightful getaway destination.
We loved the quaint village of Dana and especially this guest house with the breathtaking view from the terrace. The facilities were new and cozy, the local food delicious, and the conversations with the host Malik very interesting. We did a guided tour with him and he is extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the region and always has a funny story/anecdote up his sleeve. Highly recommended.
Very nice, idyllic and quiet location directly next to start of Dana trial. Beautiful view
Very good breakfast and traditional dinner buffet, explained by the host how they prepare it in a Jordan way.
Comfy bed.
A lot of options to organize trails with them.
Great view. The homecooked meals are served on the terrace with free view of the canyon. Clean rooms. Very quiet except for animals like jackals or wild dogs - as the guesthouse is located at the biosphere reserve. The owner is a very nice host who provides lots of informations about the reserve as he used to be a guide
Moussa is a great host, he helped us from the start with tips to arrange our trip to Dana, and was really welcoming and very friendly. We had a great stay in Dana, the place is quaint and basic but with everything you need and perfectly located, with beautiful surroundings, great for hiking. Next time I hope to stay longer and do day hikes in Dana with Moussa as a guide!
the Family who runs this accomodation is a very welcoming and friendly host. we loved to stay at their place very much, the village is small and charming! The room was simply and practically furnished. And there is a rooftop sitting area with an amazing view on the sunset. The area around the house is quiet and save. the best Sunset viewpoint is nearby down the road to the entry of Wadi Dana. Dinner (extra cost 8jod) was delicious, we highly recommend. Thank you so much for your hospitality!!!
Hazem and his team are excellent hosts! They made us feel at home, like we were family. We stayed in contact with them to say we were coming for dinner as we arrived a little late and the food was amazing. It's in a great location to begin the trek to Petra, the views next to the accommodation are beautiful! It's a popular place and big groups arrive for the treks so make sure you book in advance! The family run business is charming, the building is beautiful and we will definitely be staying again when we are back in Jordan!
