Absolutely wonderful place! Great communication via messaging prior to arrival. The staff at the property were very nice and accommodating. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean from the balcony and the sunsets were amazing! The room was beautiful! The bed and pillows were very comfortable! Floats were available to use at the pool. The grounds were impeccable!

For 60us a night it was great. Walkable road with a few decent restaurants. Very quiet community. If you are a writer or astronomer this is a good place. For sunrise and sunset and for good views you want room 1 or the tower room.

Paul was an excellent host. Views are spectacular. Sunsets are unbelievable. Bed is big and comfy. Bedroom windows are floor to ceiling. Big fridge/freezer. Soooo quiet. A bit like glamping. No hot water which is fine, but that will throw some people off.

Shades is a great place to stay. the hosts are welcoming and cater to your needs. The food is delicious. The neighborhood includes beaches and sunsets; with live music in the evening. Taxis are available to take you anywhere. I enjoyed a quiet off season vacation and I would do it again.

Great Place. The place exceeded our expectations; the view is amazing. Peggy and Marco were really helpful. Treasure Beach is a wonderful place.

Great attention to detail, the host even provided spare toothbrushes, and other bits and pieces like snacks and water! The place was very clean and safe.
Amazing hosts. Got explanations of local life, culture, and many many plants. Really great food... please try that before leaving! Koko and Jo are really great people. It was really pleasant talking to them and getting to know more about Jamaica. Very welcoming and available to accommodate our needs, even if for one night only. Great villa with loads of artistic creations from the owners. Possibility to park your car. Really enjoyed the sunrise view from the terrace! Thank you!!! The guest house is very clean, the beds are very comfortable and Ken has been an outstanding host. He arranged the boat to Floyd’s Pelican Bar from the beach in the back of the house and helped us order the fish plates for dinner from The Seafood Palace in Black River. We have really felt welcome

Decar is easy to work with and sort out details. His house is located in a secure neighoubhood, a short distance to small shops, by car. The master bedroom had AC, which was great for sleeping but otherwise the house has a great cross breeze with the windows open. Functional kitchen, you do need to bring your own food, but there is some cooking spices, tea etc. along with water and some snacks!
Its very quiet, and secure.
Everything, it was easy to communicate with host via WiFi….he was there to meet me although I arrived later than I expected. He was readily available to answer my questions or queries about where to go sightseeing in the parish. Nothing was too much to ask, him. The house 🏠 is very spacious clean and comfortable. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.
