The perfect location in the heart of varenna. Just a few steps to the lake shores. The apartment is beautiful. You have a private room but the kitchen is a shared space. We did not have an issue with this. Such a charming apartment.

Very easy to get to from the train, just walked down the hill. Restaurants downtown were great! Laura was an amazing host, she was readily available and accommodated our special needs. Loved the cottage and highly recommend!

The rooms are located in a small quiet street near a beautiful park in the outskirts of Bellagio. The room was spotless, comfortable, and quite spacious.

What a pleasant stay! The property hosts were wonderful and friendly and assisted us with parking. The rooms were comfortable and the pull down bunk beds were great for our children. Wonderful air conditioning. The breakfast was complete and everyone found parts that they loved.

A nice older property that having a car is a distinct benefit as it’s located up and out of the city on a narrow curvy road. Also a nice live-in host that was very helpful when we could not find the location of the house. Be sure to call Enzo and ask him for the proper address before attempting to find the property. He wound up coming to find us and we followed him up the hill to the proper address.

Valerio and family met us at the train station and helped with bags and transportation to accommodation, the apartment was very clean and the facilities were very comfortable. The apartment is in great location, 3 minute walk from the train station and very close to ferry terminal. Varenna was our favourite location on the lake, Valerio and family were great hosts and made our stay all the more enjoyable, I highly recommend this apartment to families or couples travelling together.

Charming accommodation and a great location in beautiful Varenna. We loved staying in this traditional apartment. The hosts were really helpful and friendly and clear with their instructions on accessing the accommodation. We had a problem with one of our keys to the room, but the hosts responded immediately and all was sorted really quickly. We would stay here again.
Everything was perfect. Location is in quiet neighbourhood, the view is really amazing. The house itself has everything you need. It’s very warm and cozy place with the parking right next to the house. Massimo is the great host, he had made everything you feel like at home. Definitely we will return back there.
And yes, you’d better have some car to make your stay more enjoyable.
The property is very quaint and clean and the host was excellent with her communication. The view is amazing and the area is quiet. Paid Public parking is by the lake and is relatively close to the property.
Everything! Great location. Super close to the ferry and train station. And there’s a beach area just down the end of the street to swim in the lake. Anna was a great host. She met us at check in, gave great restaurant recommendations and even helped us book a transfer back to Milan airport. Our family loved our time here! Thanks so much!

We had a lovely stay and the house met all our expectations. The view was just WOW, we could see the Bellagio peninsula. The house was quiet and away from all the Lake Como tourist areas which was very peaceful. The house was well equiped, I.e. kitchen utensils etc.
Nicole was a great host and was very helpful in providing instructions and recommendations around the area.
We also found some cute swimming spots very close by to the house so that’s convenient.
Everything. Great location. Great view. Great sleep. Great host. Just a spectacular quaint place to stay. We absolute loved the place and the area.
Was easy to find and there was parking available. You do need to pay for it during day hours. This was not a problem for us as we were aware that the property does not have parking and we were lucky to get to park close by and walk/ferry everywhere.
Varenna is a great little town and we can highly recommend visiting and staying at the Villa Toretta.
