We had a wonderful welcome from the host who made us feel at home. He had great local knowledge of the area and recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The property has been lovingly converted to a characterful and stylish hotel, with rooms that were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and very good value. After a few days travelling staying at the Ostello del Castello was like a warm hug.

It was more like an apartment than a room, there was a kitchen too in my room. When I arrived and meet the guy I feel that I was in good place. In breakfast there was fresh baked croissants and apple pie available, that was nice!

This was exactly what my family and I were hoping for! The host was overly sweet and accommodating. The apartment was so quaint and charming which was exactly what we wanted to experience. It was extremely clean and cozy, with french doors to an outside patio off the kitchen and living room. The views were gorgeous and it was only about a 5-10 minute walk to the train station and the beautiful town of Tirano! We'd definitely go back again. Amazing!!
a fantastic place, centrally located. It's a very unique and charming bed and breakfast situated inside an old palace in one of Tirano's oldest homes. The rooms were stunning, unique, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the host was friendly and helpful.
Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. Beds were super comfy. Bathroom was excellent. Great location and very quiet. Only a ten minute walk to the train station. Quite a few restaurants around, however it seems lots were closed on Monday and you would need to make a reservation.
