Amazing overall experience!! The room is PERFECT, big, amazing view, clean and comfy. We had a private balcony with jacuzzi and outdoor shower that was simply heaven! Breakfast is superb and with lots of variety. And yet, the main advantage of La Barbera is the amazing staff. They were all super professional, helpful and at our disposal to make our stay the best possible. Recommend to everyone to stay at this dreamy hotel.

Host was very welcoming, explained a lot of local sites, bars and restaurants along the Amalfi coast. The property is fantastic, we selected the space with a private terrace and enjoyed having a drink or meal here in the evenings as the sun went down. There’s a great local bar (Bar del Sole) for affordable breakfasts and for later in the day house drinks are €4 (spritz are more expensive). Lots of restaurants in the town.

This place is heaven on earth. First, you get mesmerized by the breathtaking view, and then you get wowed by the hospitality. Each staff member added some value to the place. Rooms are big and comfortable all in different decors. If you can pay the extra bit and get the one with the full view: you will not regret it. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the towels are fresh and changed daily. They knew that I was there with my friends to celebrate my delayed 50th birthday and I found a beautiful bunch of flowers in my room and a personalized note. So sweet!! Just outside the hotel, there is a bus stop to Positano, Ravello and Amalfi and 480 stairs to go to the " Gavitella Beach". Along the stairs, there is a cool terrace bar with great cocktails. We had daily breakfast at their main Hotel " Il Tramonto d´Oro" with a ridiculously beautiful sea view. The breakfast is an international style and freshly baked cakes and freshly squeezed local oranges. The Restaurant is also very good and there are plenty more around for choices.

The breakfast was superb we had dinner both nights of our stay and the food was excellent and value for miner the owners were really friendly and the property has Been highly renovated with a very old history and the view was marvellous we will be returning thank you for our stay Ken and Michelle
