The location is excellent and the property manager was very helpful! She met us at the door and explained everything about the property and provided helpful tips about the village and the 5terre region. Also, on the day of our departure there was an unplanned train strike and she gave up heads ups so we can plan better our departure from 5terre. Cannot help her enough for that! Beautifully kept and decorated. Everything thought to give the guests a warm welcome. Elisabetta was amazing, providing clear instructions, and following up with us making sure everything was ok. She even let us know about a strike that affected the trains the whole morning and allowed us to check out in the early afternoon. The hole experience was outstanding. It’s never about a big infrastructure or grandiose amenities, with love and care, treating guests like they are friends or family, that’s all a business in the hospitality industry needs to make a difference, Le Storie di Manarola and Elisabetta are definitely one of them.

Though 'very basic' as the host told me, the flat was perfect for a weeks stay for me.
It is charming, practical and very well functioning, located in a quiet area of Manarola away from the crowds.
Within a few minutes walk you find a great variety af bars, restaurants and two grocery stores. I will definitely stay in Il Bordone if I come to Cinque Terre again.

A modern little hotel with wonderful owners. Alfredo and Jessica were extremely welcoming and great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. They have great advise about the area; when ,where and how to visit places. ( superb English too). The room was modern , comfortable and spotless with a view right onto the street. (Though peaceful at night) A great location to visit the other towns by trek or train. Breakfast was delicious with a great range of products , freshly cooked as you arrived.

Great location, spacious and clean apartment. Comfortable bed and a nice view over Cinque Terre. On the doorstep of a nice little piazza with views over the water and the train station. Is very close to the train station but you need to climb a few hills. Great hosts who were accommodating and kind.
Great location for village and harbour. Cafes close by for breakfast but quiet overnight. Short distance from railway station - some steps but relatively few for these villages. Giorgio was a great host, meeting us from the train, booking restaurants for us, very friendly guy.
What a top find. The apartment was spacious and has everything you need, lovely views from the balcony. Great location in Manarola and a short walk from the station. Irma was a great host offering local tips and was easy to communicate with. The pasta place next door was ideal for breakfast or quick meals. Really good value for money - so much space compared to cramped rooms for the same price in the area.
