We really liked this accommodation as it ticked everything we could want. The staff is very kind and attentive to details, speaking Italian and French as native language, fantastic and very rich Breakfast, with organic and local products. The room and the bathroom were very large with all the necessary facilities, impeccable cleanliness. The location is perfect for those who want to visit by car several key points in Valley d'Aosta. We visited Cervinia, Chamois, Gressoney, Champoluc, Cormeyeur, Aosta, Bard, and Fenis, which were easy to reach by car. There are so many activities to do in this area, not to mention hikes or mountain biking trails to see Mont Blanc and Matterhorn, Monte Cervino.
Surrounded by green meadows and facing the Bassa Valley, 3.1 mi from Montjovet, La Majon de Fohten offers en suite traditional rooms and a shared garden with BBQ.

Everything was wonderful! From Marco who is a pro at hospitality (super gentil!) to an impeccable room (clean, well decorated, spacious), and a calm bit stunning location and view. After 2 weeks in Switzerland and Italy this was for us the best place we stayed at. Excellent value, too. And don’t miss the breakfast with many home-prepped items. My wife and I recommend this place wholeheartedly, no hesitation.
Grazie mille, Marco!

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
All the staff was very friendly, polite and extremely helpful, the hotel is located very close to the cable car station, is very clean and quiet, the spa is amazing and the restaurant is excellent. I will definitely choose this hotel again to stay in this area.
The apartment has a lot of space and is really close to the skilift or the ski bus that takes you up to Staffal. It’s also really well equipped with pots and pans. The hosts were very friendly and the communication was swift and easy. The apartment is also very quiet at night and lets you recharge for the next day of adventures.
Lovely spacious room and helpful hostess. Fantastic choice at breakfast served by friendly staff at charming nearby hotel. Great to be able to use hotel boot room which is right next to the ski lift so no need to trek about with ski and boots.
Very warm and cosy with thermostats in every room. don’t think the pictures do this accommodation justice. It has the character of an old-style stone building with all the mod-cons you could need. Great location - a few minutes walk to main lift. The host was very happy to advise with local knowledge and could not have done more to make my stay enjoyable.
Gigi was an incredible host and made us feel like home. His warm reception definitely made all the difference, he helped us to sort everything and was extremely kind. Hotel was cosy and charming. Definitely want to come back!
