We arrived at Stromboli late in the afternoon and only got back to the apartment in the late evening because we went on a tour of the volcano. But the apartment was good, with air conditioning and a well-maintained building.

Sitting under the stars on their Architectural Digest-worthy terrace, it seemed like my resting heart rate was about 30. The perfect place, the perfect hosts, and the perfect antidote for this crazy world. Can’t wait to return!
We truly loved our time at Mariangelica. Antonetta was a helpful and gracious host with a deep knowledge of the island and the town. She even tolerated my terrible Italian 😄 It was a special stay and we plan on coming back.
We originally had booked a room in the more center of Ginostra but were proposed to take a full apartment a bit more out to accommodate other reservations and hosts hustle to go up and down in the town during the very hot month of August. This apartment was spacious and private. It is on the way to the more isolated but beautiful spot on the island. Overall very cute.
Great accomodation in the beautiful town of Ginostra. The room is lovely and well equipped, Antonietta was very helpful and welcoming (for example for organizing a night-boat-trip to see Stromboli-eruptions). We would be happy to come back! The quiet and peaceful Ginostra is a place to real rest and recovery.
