Portantica was perfectly located at the foot of the historical Conversano with its history and a lot of restaurents. Being part of the living quarters of the old Conversano there is no through traffic and therefore very quiet. I had the room under the roof which I must admit was the warmest and with the weakest WIFI but had a terrace that I appreciated very much. The room was very spacy and clean. At the beginning I missed an electrical water heater. But the water from the tap was hot enough to make me some tea. So problem solved but anyway I would still suggest to add such a helpful device.

Loved our stay! The hosts are so welcoming and kind, and did everything to make my toddlers stay amazing. Breakfast was gorgeous - best banana bread ever 😄 rooms are comfy, and the property is so relaxed. You can dine outside in the evenings, and the pool is always quiet - overlooking the amazing landscape. Some lovely animals on the property that our son loved watching. The sunsets are like we have never seen here ☀️ the property is rural, but with good links to some lovely towns. Thanks so much for an amazing time 😄
The property is utterly charming, as is the host. We loved the beautiful design, crisp good quality bed linen, the lovely shower and well-equipped kitchen and the terrace with a view was a much appreciated bonus. Most of all we loved the very attentive and generous host. The great food recommendations shared had us eating like locals.
What a magnificent property, it was so good, we didn’t want to leave it at all. In fact one day we stayed onsite all day. The pool is epic, great sun chairs, and a steam room! There was parking onsite which in the area is kind of scarce, room was huge and a great coffee machine, which is essential when you are staying away from the city centre a bit. The host was helpful and available when needed by text. A 5 minute walk to town centre. Make sure take up the lunch and dinner recommendations, they were spot on.
We came for our 10 year anniversary. The hosts had prepared for us a bottle of champagne! Hosts helped find restaurants, shops and other contacts, also brought fresh fruit and gave me their umbrella when it was raining. Also the coffee and croissants for breakfast were amazing! Conversano is a beautiful quiet clean town.
The aprtment was nice, clean and warm. Its location is very convenient - within walking distanced to historical center, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Alessio is a great host - he provided lots of usful information as well as advice on what to see, do and where to eat. Breakfast was served in a neaby cafe. On-premise parking is a great plus. Communication with host was spot-on. Whould not hesitate to visit again. Many thanks, Alessio!
We were very satisfied with the apartment, everything was clean and there was also fresh fruit waiting for us. We had breakfast in the bar close by (2 min walk) but the last day (Tuesday) the bar was closed and Isa (the host) brought us a great breakfast in our room. She was a great host, she also provided us secured parking space in front of the apartment. We would definitely come again.
Great location to reach beautiful beaches and lots of places worth visiting while at the same time being in a quiet and relaxing villa surrounded by fruit trees, extremely clean and with all facilities available. Special thanks to Tony who's been an amazing host, giving us lots of advice on the local gems and always made us feel very welcome. See you again soon!
Great location, just a few steps to centro storico, but very peaceful. Parking (cheap) was a minute away and always free. The room was great, with mini fridge and small balcony, but there was also a great little terrace on top of the house - perfect for an evening glass of wine. We could enjoy a self made breakfast in the little kitchen, just large anough for two people. The host was extremely kind and helpful, she recommended us many great bars and restaurants in Conversano. Would definitely recommend!
