The host was welcoming and helpful in recommendations for restaurants featuring local cuisine. We ate at two and they were splendid! Breakfast was beautifully laid out and the coffee, croissant, Greek yogurt and fruit hit the spot. Will surely return next time in Chiavari!

The view from the terrace towards the valley and the sea is amazing and you can enjoy the evening sun there. The location up in the hills is secluded and quiet but easily accessible by car. The rooms were tidy and the host was extremely helpful.

We arrived very late and had to leave very early before breakfast. Which we regretted a bit as the place has a nice view both in the evening and in the morning in a quiet neighborhood.
The roads up there are quite small so if you are not used to such roads definitely recommend a compact car.

Quiet location, but close to main roads. Nice property with good parking. Clean pleasant room and shower room. Use of kitchen for glasses of water etc. Host was very friendly and the breakfast was abundant and good quality. We just stopped one night en route to our home further south and were very satisfied. We found a simple trattoria just 10 mins away to eat dinner which was delicious and very reasonably priced.
We stayed with our twins at Casa Aquarela. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The location is fantastic. It is in the middle of everywhere you would like to go around the region. We went to beautiful places from Cinque Terre to Portofino and we also enjoyed Chiavari a lot. Paula was very nice, helpful and understanding. Her breakfast was delicious and she was a great host. I fully recommend Casa Aquarela to couples & families.
